New Balance Men's MR10v2 Minimus Running Shoe

I bought this shoe because I liked the green pair so much. Very light and comfortable, they are great looking.

These shoes will last for over a year if you run with the proper form they are designed for (forefront). I run about 30 miles a week and go to the gym 3 days a week as well. I only wish they had more colors.

These are a huge improvement over the first generation MR10s. They're super light and fit like a glove and the clunky soles of the originals have been shaved down to near perfection. Also, the flashy colors are great in my opinion. When I slipped my foot into the right shoe I was thrilled at how great it felt, but that feeling went away as I put on the left shoe. The insoles of these are sewn in, and the left one was much narrower at the forefoot than the right, meaning my foot was hanging over the nice plush insole onto the rough fabric of the upper. I'm getting a replacement sent and I'm hoping that these are just defective, because they have the potential to be absolutely fantastic shoes and I've only heard good things about them from other users. Also, some reviewers have noted that these run small, but I would disagree with that. I have a fairly wide foot from years of running in VFFs and these fit my feet perfectly. Until I receive the replacements I unfortunately can't provide the high marks I want to give these shoes.

They feel great. I love these shoes. These shoes are very light and comfortable. I'm not totally crazy about the color, but everything else is perfect.

People love this shoe. Definitely an attention getter but so comfortable. I am an RN, work 12 hour nights so I'm on my feet for long periods of time. When I wear these shoes, I have no pain in my feet, legs, hips or back. They are also as light as a sheet of paper. I Love them, wrote down the model number so I can buy more when these wear out!

I don't normally write about anything, but I felt compelled to write about these shoes. So much so that I have 2 more pairs of the exact same model. These shoes have no become my work shoe (1 pair), and my running shoe of choice (2nd pair). Be prepared to get used to them if you normally have thick soled shoes, but once your muscles built up a little getting used to very little support, you won't be disappointed. a couple of things to note: 1) there are holes in the sole that allow air to pass through them. For me this has been a g-d send, I have very hot feet, but if you run in wet/slushie weather your socks will get wet. 2) this shoe is not meant for runners who heal strike (stay away). Love em!

These are the best running shoes I have ever owned. I just bought my second pair. The first ones look amazing after 500 Km!!! Love them. Highly recommend getting your size (not a half size bigger).

I bought these shoes about 6 months ago, and have waited to write a review to get my long term impressions. I am by no means an avid runner, I probably run 5-10 miles a week. These shoes were a replacement for my Minimus MT-20's which were a bit too narrow for me. Fitment of the 2E is exactly what I wanted, they fit true to size and were easy to break in. I love literally everything about these shoes except one glaring problem. The soles have two spots where there is no rubber and you can see the bottom of the insole, one on the toe box and the other in the middle of the heel. These allow MASSIVE amounts of water to just come on in and party, which is fine when its PERFECTLY dry out, but if I take just one step through a shallow puddle my foot is soaked. If they fixed the sole I would literally wear this shoe everywhere I go, but unfortunately they have become fare weather/gym shoes.

These Shoes were my first foray into minimalist running and they did not disappoint. I logged over 400 miles in the shoes before they started to disintegrate and in my eyes that means they were durable enough. very comfortable running shoes.

premetto che non sono un professionista e questa è puramente la mia opinione. Ho sempre corso con scarpe più o meno ammortizzate e non sono passato per scarpe di transizione. Ho preso direttamente questo modello, leggero, fresco ed essenziale. Prima uscita di 10K e l' avampiede mi sembrava prendere fuoco, ma non è di certo un problema della scarpa! La calzata è comodo, il piede si può "aprire" bene in appoggio e c'è lo spazio per le dita! Se come me è la prima scarpa natural ... andateci piano! Spedizione, imballaggio e prodotto ottimi!

These have become my preferred shoe for road running over all distances. (For trail I am wearing the NB MT10v2, which is also great. Note this shoe, the MR10v2, has sufficient tread for dry trails.) I love these shoes - they are super light and responsive. Unlike some of the other shoes being marketed as low drop / minimal, these give definitely a firm, responsive ride and are not for you unless you have properly adapted your form. There is no foam to speak of at all. Comments on the drop - they are marketed as 4mm heel to toe, but to me, they feel flatter than this, quite similar to a zero in fact. However, unlike zeroes there is a little bit of support under the arch which I prefer to have for longer runs. In terms of fit: be wary of NB sizes - I am only 11.5 or 12 UK in other running shoes, but 12.5 in these. For me, the fit is exactly right for a minimal shoe - tight around the heel, but with plenty of room to spread out in the toe box. However, the fit feels secure even on moderate downhill sections. I have the D width fitting which is wide enough for me - put potentially I wonder if I could go to shorter length and get the 2E. In summary: an excellent minimal running shoe.
