X-Sense Wi-Fi Water Leak Detector with App Alerts, SWS0A, 1-Pack

Really impressed with the whole x-sense system. Bought this add-on to put behind the dishwasher underneath all the kitchen cupboards so hopefully it'll alerts me to any issues before there is a major problem. When I tested it all worked well and the alert came through very quickly. I would say the design of it with the kind of metal pins underneath probably could be improved. In my work I've used flood detection ropes which you lay all over the ground and any point that gets wet then it sends the alert and I think I'd prefer if it had this mechanism but still the product works.

Work REALLY well. I put them under things that might be prone to leaking - under the sink, under the boiler, under a radiator with a new valve, on the bathroom floor outside the shower! If water drips on the top they go off, and if they sit in water, it will go off too. So you can put them in a dish under a potentially leaky thing, and the dish will collect the water, and the sensor will let you know - before the dish overflows! I even put one in the ceiling void UNDERNEATH our shower tray, as that joint fell off once and caused a big leak into the kitchen below - i put a little door in the kitchen ceiling so I can change the battery, and repair that joint if needed. When they go off, the base station (sold separately) which is attached to your wifi, makes an alarm, and sends a push notification to you, and other people you nominate, telling you which sensor has gone off. With a recent-ish change to iOS it can even make your phone make this noise even if it's on silent. I have multiple smoke detectors, Heat sensors, CO, and leak ones all over our 5 floor house, and they work very well. Not very expensive really, but well worth the investment.

tiny units, great for under the kitchen sink or behind your washing machine - even one in the bathrm, so if someone floods your bathrm floor with the shower or leaves bath running - you get an alert on your mobile (unit does NOT make a noise itself) - relies on your wifi/router being functioning

Bought a few of these to place in strategic spots such as near the gravity tank, hot water tank and washing machine. This in nicely with the other x-sense devices such as the fire and CO alarms.

X sense is a top product. So much so I have now invested in a complete system for my house and got rid of my house alarm. Really happy with all x sense products. This stemmed from using the system for an out building. No false alarms and all the add on products and alarm system work flawlessly. I’m really happy with the reliability and build of all their products. 10/10.

Hat uns (zum Glück erst einmal) vor einem grösseren Unglück bewahrt, als unsere Waschmaschine ausgelaufen ist. Der Melder ist sehr laut und die Meldung auf dem Smartphone ist klar. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Die Kopplung des Wassermelders mit der Basisstation funktioniert sehr schnell. Der Preis ist super und die Qualität ist sehr gut. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr.

In Kombination mit der SB50‑Station war die Einrichtung super einfach und in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Der Wassermelder reagiert schnell und zuverlässig, wir sind wirklich sehr zufrieden. Wir haben ihn auf dem Dachboden bei der Heizung im Einsatz, nachdem wir dort schon einmal einen Wasserschaden hatten. Toll ist auch, dass er sich problemlos in die App einbinden lässt, die wir ohnehin schon für unsere Rauchmelder nutzen. Das macht alles deutlich einfacher.
