DEA A4617 Rear Engine Mount

had to cut the weld and re-position it to fit right which took another hour or so but still worked fine after that

The box arrived a bit torn up with the mount a bit dinged. The mount works fine though.

The item came on time. When i opened the package everything seemed in order, however after installing a week later the bolt snapped. I had to buy a new bolt and reinstall it . After a month the mount itself broke however the bolt remained intact. I am now buying a new mount and reinstalling for the 3 rd time! a total of 12 plus hours of do it your self labor at the time i ordered all 4 motor mounts from different companies this one was the only one that has failed thus far.

This rear motor mount was an almost exact fit in regards to the bolt placements.Tips:1. Don't tighten the bolts on the motor mount nor on the bracket that holds on to the motor mount2. Use a heavy hammer with rubber to hit the legs of this mount into place3. Lift the car as high as possible to make things easier for you.4. Have many extensions for your tools5. Have good lighting6. Remove the intake tube to access bolts from the engine compartment, specially if you choose not to drop the cross member.

This is for the DEA A4617 engine mount. Arrived on time and works well after installation.

Car drives like brand new. If you have vibration or shifting clunks, this will cure it. If this mount is bad your front motor mount is probably bad also, and I would suggest replacing at the same time. Warning: this is not for a novice mechanic. It does take a few hours and fairly difficult to replace, but it is well worth the work.
