Warmest Socks for Winter, Cold Weather, Yak Wool socks for Extreme Cold, Cold Feet, Indoor

Ordered the size 38 sock and it fit exactly how it was supposed to. The socks are incredibly warm, I tested these during a harsh snow storm working outside where my feet normally would be frozen with my smart wool socks but not today, they remained warm and cozy in my regular winter boots. They are super absorbant too, no more sweaty feet. I work outside for a living and highly recommend. I plan on buying several pairs of these.

Very soft to my feet and the size was perfect! I walk a lot out in the cold weather both for recreation and work. Much to my pleasure, the socks were very warm and soft and most importantly kept my feet dry at all times, which was extremely comfortable. Two thumbs up! Plan on getting a pair or two later. Highly recommended for those who wish to stay warm and dry.

These socks are very warm, thick but not scratchy. Held up well after washing on a wool program in washing machine. They are better than other yak wool socks from another vendor I own, so they are worth it for me despite relatively high price.

These socks are so warm. My feet were freezing when we got off the plane in Seattle Washington. I put them on and instant warmth. So soft, NOT itchy. I purchased a pair for my husband who loved them and plan on purchasing a few more pair to have on hand. Great socks for "cold" weather.

I got these socks for a Winter holiday in the Rockies and the Yukon this January. They are simply the best! I purchased size L (large) for a Womens shoe size 38 and they were perfect. They are a comfortable fit, and kept my feet warm in -26 degrees they washed well and they are so good I am purchasing a few more pairs.

These socks are warm and super comfortable. They do not hold up to being outdoors at -40, they are too thin. I live in Alaska and will use these in the fall, not winter.

These are great. Wonderful fit, finish, and feel. Not very thick, yet as comfy as a nice thick pair is. I will have to see how durable these are, however as it stands I am not very worried. Nice packaging too. I plan on getting a few more pair in the near future.

Yakamel Wool socks for Extreme Cold, Warmest Socks for Winter, Cold Weather keep feet toasty warm. They are made of yak wool and have helped keep my feet warm this winter. I have feet that tend to feel cold no matter the circumstances and at night, they feel like bags of ice cubes. Regular socks don't seem to make much of a difference. I saw these yak wool socks and read about them. They seemed to be worth a try to see if they would keep my feet warmer. They do. The yak wool is combed off once a year from yaks in Mongolia and the socks themselves are made in Mongolia. "Yak wool is more absorbent than many other fibers and your feet will feel drier." The body of the sock is made of: "90% yak wool / 6% spandex / 4% viscose and the toe & heel are made of: a durable yak wool blend." The sole is made with a thicker layer. The socks should be hand washed in lukewarm water, using no bleach, squeeze the water out, and slightly stretch them. Hang dry or lay flat to dry them. The maker claims these winter socks are "warmer than merino, and as soft as cashmere." I agree then are warmer than merino but don't agree they're softer than cashmere. I am well acquainted with cashmere wool and these don't come anywhere near its softness. But I can attest they do the job of keeping the tootsies toasty. Check them out.
