I haven't used it yet but ive set it up ready to go and its much better than the silicon band guides that ive used before. Very easy to put together and adjust, and the strap connects at the front with velcro so very easy to put on and take off. The guide is also wide enough to cover the complete neckline, so will be very easy to use.

Brilliant, just what I needed to keep my neckline tidy, it makes it incredibly simple - takes about a minute to get a perfectly straight neckline. The device stops you trimming any hair you don’t mean to, and it keeps my long hair safely out of the way I also use the band to trim my sides of my head - I only take a bit off above my ears so it doesn’t stick out when I take my glasses off! It’s easier to use if you have one of the 360 degree mirror sets - being able to see what you’re doing helps, although I find looking through multiple mirrors makes it confusing when directing the clippers, I just use them to do the sides, and check my handywork on the neckline after. I thought the items a little pricey for what they are - basically a silicon band and a piece of curved plastic, but they’re going to save me a fortune in haircuts so their value outweighs their cost. Overview - Quality: It’s quite a strong yet flexible plastic. Price: honestly not worth the price at all. Easy to use: NO. Functionality: getting it positioned correctly is quite hard. I’m not quite sure who the target audience is for this product but I can for sure say it wasn’t me. I tried cutting my own hair and fading it with the product but the experience was awful. Firstly, I am no barber; so of course I couldn’t get the cut right. Was the product to blame? Yes, I’d say around 3% blame because the thing wouldn’t stay where it should and I have a big head, but the other 97% blame is on me. I really messed my head up, I had to shave it all off, I was baldy! I’d say this product is more for trainee barbers or people who already have some knowledge when it comes to cutting hair. If you’re a beginner this probably isn’t for you!

This kit is extremely handy for cutting your own hair. If used properly it's excellent. Money well spent.

Useless. The band itself would be partially useful as it would give a guide for where to trim and fade. However, where the ratchet part at the back connects, it completely gets in the way and doesn't allow you to cut upwards. I bought this due to the majority of positive reviews and that the price must be an indicator of quality... Wrong! Save your money!
