Goodman HKR-10C Auxiliary Heat Strip 10Kw with Circuit Breaker

I had to use my brain a little to figure out how to install it at first. Not every HVAC unit is exactly the same. I had to think about placement and look closely at the unit itself first. But once I figured out how to insert it, she went together like clockwork. Great Item.

Works great. Easy installation. New one had one less wire in plug than the older but still worked. After putting together it heat wouldn't come on unless I put the emergency heat button on. Left alone for a few hours and when I tried again it worked like it should. Haven't had any more issues.

Description claims it is compatible and it is not. When I called the company they said that it happens often that the part is not compatible. I suggested they put that as a disclaimer instead of saying it was compatible. I was able to returned it , but a restocking fee of $26 was not returned to me.So basically I paid $26 for a part to be restocked on a part that the seller knew was not compatible but they are saying in the description it is and have no plans on changing the description to reflect the truth.

We purchased this as the “suggested other items” with an AC unit and it works as it’s supposed to, but it was not 100% compatible with the unit. My fiancé said a few choice words when installing it and I believe we spent an additional $150-200 getting the 2 to work together with our home. BUT we expected it would need lines and such anyways from our prior central heat and air going out.

This not work with Goodman Heat pump that I purchased. Want to return for the correct product

This item was recommended to purchase with the Goodman 2 ton 15 seer split unit I bought. When installing, the plate holes did not line up with the air handler and the connector is not correct either. I am having to figure out how to splice the wires. Still dont know if this product works but I can tell you that it probably shouldn't be recommended with certain AC units if it does not install properly.
