Favorite travel mug! Completely leak proof & simple to use. Great size as my coffee lasts all morning. Last few sips are lukewarm, but I am fine with that as usually is 6-7 hours later. Keeping leak proof slider shut helps, but often forget to close while at my desk. Fits in all cup holders and great quality. I purchased this in 2025 after using the smaller size for a while. Over all, my Owala’s have been the best travel mugs for coffee & best water bottles. They are leak proof, well designed, durable, and well worth the cost. The water bottles retain the cold longer than heat, but heat retention is decent compared to other brands and hold up better in my opinion. Repurchasing as my other travel mug handle is loose, never had a problem with my other 3-4 Owala’s, and this holds more coffee. I do wash my mugs by hand daily so they are long lasting as dishwasher heat is hard on any coated mug.

I love this Owala mug! If you're looking for a commuter friendly mug, this one is for you. I picked this mug because I have a 45-minute commute (1 hr if there's traffic), then I walk 0.5 miles to my office, so I needed a mug that would stay extra warm and doesn't spill. This travel mug doesn't spill at all, I toss it in with my laptop and don't have to worry. I also love how simple it looks, it's great to bring to the office or keep at home, I just appreciate clean and neutral looks. I also didn't think I'd like the sipping feature of the lid as much as I did, I really thought it was just for design but it actually improves the drinking quit a bit especially if you're drinking as you're walking. I'm somewhat clumsy and I do tend to spill drinks on myself especially if I'm drinking and walking, so the protruding sipping feature actually helps a lot... I appreciate it! I make my coffee at 7am, and it stays hot until 1-2pm! I also occasionally make ice coffee, and it stays pretty cold for 12 hours as well (I do put a lot of ice too). Overall, this is the mug that made me stop buying other mugs or looking for a better product because it meets my needs. It is a bit pricey, but for me, it is the last mug I'll buy. It's neutral and pretty, it's leakproof, I love the sipping feature, it keeps my drinks hot or cold through my commute and day, and it's beautiful to hold as well. Once my hydroflask mug naturally dies (it barely keeps my coffee warm past an hour), I plan to retire it and if needed, just get another Owala.

I love this mug! The shape fits the hand very comfortably, it is easy to drink from, the pink color is just perfect,and I have gotten a few compliments on it too! It does a great job of keeping cold drinks cold- I have left iced water in the car for several hours in the Texas summer and there is usually some ice left unmelted and the water is still cool. Ice water will stay iced and cool overnight in 76-78 degree temps and all day at work. It does less well at keeping hot drinks hot- coffee brewed at 9 am will be lukewarm by 1 or 2 in an indoor office environment. Totally leakproof, so useful for keeping water on a nightstand and on my desk next to my keyboard, accidentally tipping it over is perfectly safe as long as the slide is closed. I bought mine in May 2025 and waited to do a review so I could see the durability and quality. It has held up great. I was worried about the slide closure top which is obviously the weakest link, but I literally use this thing 7 days a week and have had no problems. The powder coating has held up well also, good quality base prep and coating, no peeling, discoloration or fading. I’ve dropped it a couple of times onto pavement getting out of the car and only one tiny almost invisible speck knocked off, which hasn’t spread or chipped further. Also made a tiny dent on the bottom which is reasonable for 3 feet onto concrete while full. It is very durable and has a good weight and hand feel. Worth the money and saves plastic bottles from being used too. Cleaning is easy and fast once I watched the video one time to see how. I definitely recommend this product.

I've used many different tumblers; this is the first to get everything right: - excellent insulation *- does not leak - well designed mouthpiece - lid easy to disassemble and clean *- wearing parts replaceable (I was fed up with having to buy a whole new one when a rubber gasket wears out in a year) - big, not too big, at 20 oz (590 ml) - good feel, grippable textured finish - attractive simple design in nice color variety Minor improvements could include a 16-oz size, between their 12 and 20 versions, and a silicone parts kit in addition to the entire lid replacement.

I'm in love with this cup. I've tested the lid a few times and it truly is leak proof. That was a huge selling point for me. The size is also perfect. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I like a morning and afternoon cup and this allows the perfect amount of coffee and creamer (don't hate on me for the creamer!). Because I drink my java slowly, most cups allow it to get cold before I'm done....this one keeps it a nice temp. It's usually a little above lukewarm by the time I'm finished - a few hours in - which is fine with me. I haven't tried it for anything cold - so I don't know how it does for that or how long ice will keep. I also haven't tried to disassemble to lid for cleaning yet. I'm a bit nervous about that because I'm not mechanically inclined, but they provided an instruction sheet with pictures, so....maybe.....lol Finally, let's talk about the beautiful color. I am a pink girl through and through, and this cup does not disappoint. It's beautiful. My husband thinks it looks like Pinky Pie from My Little Ponies....he's not wrong.

I drink coffee daily, always when I wake up. My husband purchased these for me as I needed a reusable coffee cup on the go. I typically drink my coffee during my morning commute to work. It's almost impossible to drink hot coffee without a lid while driving....it goes everywhere!! I tried and I was fed up! He finally got us these Owala coffee cups with lids. Hallelujah!!! My husband found these at our local grocery store and decided to give them a try. He purchased a deep purple color and the tan color. They have the twist on/off coffee lids with the sliding closure tops to keep the coffee warm and to keep your coffee in the cup while on the move and not drinking. Let me tell you, I've been so impressed! We loved them so much, we went to Amazon to purchase more colors. Our local store was sold out! We purchased the pink and green online. Pros: These are insulated stainless steel cups. You cannot use anything other than stainless steel in my opinion for cleanliness and longevity. It will keep your coffee warm for as long as your drinking on it during your morning commute and during work for a bit longer. The smooth sip slider lid is amazing! The main reason is because it's fully detachable meaning no gunk gets stuck in it or missed during cleaning. You simply pop off the top piece and then switch the inside black piece allowing everything to be cleaned separately. The lid is easy to twist on and off. The sliding closure is also super easy to use and it definitely keeps the coffee in when closed and fumbling it around. The design is super sleek and classy. It's simple yet extremely functional. It has everything you need to it. It's very durable. Seems like it will last years 🤞🏻. Super happy with this product!!! Great value for the money. Cons: Speaking of money ...wow, these are expensive. I really hate to spend $30 for a cup! It almost caused me to not buy more. However after looking at other options, they were not super cheap either. Very unfortunate. I'm hopeful they will last with that price point. While I raved about the detachable lid pieces, I did really hurt my finger popping it out. My husband typically breaks the lid down for cleaning but this time he was busy so I did. I really hurt my finger but lesson learned, don't use your fingernails to pop off the top piece..it cracked my fingernail and it bruised and wouldn't stop bleeding. That could be a me problem but anyway...lol, be careful popping the lid pieces off! Overall, I love my cups but hate the price. I now have 4 so that should tell you something lol. Highly recommend and happy with my purchases!

Best travel cup I’ve purchased! Does its job by keeping your coffee warm for hours. The sipper lid is perfect, there isn’t coffee swimming around the lid after a sip. Fits perfect in a cup holder.

I LOVE this cup! It holds enough tea to get through a kid's soccer game or a long drive to the coast. Easy to open one-handed, never leaks, very pleasant to drink from. Sits well in the car cup holder and doesn't look out of place on my work desk. 'm a big fan of the mouth shape on the water bottles so bought this to test; I love it!
