I used this for Thanksgiving turkey and it worked great. The temperature was easy to adjust and worked just like an oven. I had a 12 in turkey and the oven was the perfect size with room to spare. It is easy to use and the quality of the materials used make this oven long lasting. I could smell my the turkey roasting and it tasted very moist. This allows quicker cooking and makes having it a necessity.

This is a really nice electric roaster! We bought for Thanksgiving and our turkey turned out wonderful! It fit a 17.86lb turkey with extra room! No basting needed as the lid does that! Super easy to use. I recommend checking it about 1 hour before it says it will be done because ours was finished then! No burns

I was a bit doubtful this turkey roaster could do the job but it exceeded my expectations. We cooked an 18 lb turkey in the roaster in 3 hours! The turkey was moist and cooked to perfection. Having the roaster freed up the oven to cook all the sides. Cleanup was easy. Highly recommend.

I cooked a full 14 lbs Turkey for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Best turkeys I ever cooked. It works great. I gave it four stars instead five for one reason. On its ends there are lid holders that are supposed to hold the lid propped up. Before I even used it I put the lid in the holder to test it. It doesn't hold it...at all. Fell right out. I tried it again to make sure I had it on right. I wiggled it slightly. Not hard at all. Half of the plastic lid holder attached to the main body snapped off. Didn't impact the cookers function, but they definitely screwed up the engineering on it. Cheap plastic holder that doesn't really work. They are luckily it actually works pretty good as a cooker.

I bought 26 qt roaster thinking it would be deeper and/or longer than my 20 quart Rival roaster but it wasn't. It does have a much deeper lid ( I tried to show the difference in the photos). When I first used the new roaster it does put off a smell but after a while it did dissipate because of the smell and some of the reviews I did keep checking on it to make sure it wasn't having any malfunction. I first set it in the 250 degree level and after it showed no issue there I went and turned it all the way up to 350 degrees cook several corn on the cob. Once cobs were finished cooking I left mine plugged in and on 200 degrees for hours. Just to keep the corn warm throughout the day. I had no issues with my unit and for that reason I would recommend purchasing.

Good size! Even temp and heat. Cooked ar 25 lbs turkey with no problem.

I ordered the RoyalCraft 26 qt electric roaster, but received a lower rated Survive instead. Bait and switch? When I washed the liner and lid prior to using, a piece of enamel fell off the roaster. The temperature control is wildly inaccurate. With the control knob set at 325, my oven thermometer that I had placed in the roaster register 450. Consequently, it took much trial and error to reach and maintain the 325 temperature required to roast our Thanksgiving turkey. In addition, both the lid handle and side handles become extremely hot. Although there are vent holes in the lid, the construction is so flimsy that steam escaped from all around the glass. Bottom line, this is cheaply constructed roaster that doesn't function properly. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this product. It is a waste of your money. I only gave it one star because a rating was required. This product deserves zero stars.

I have used this for 2 big holiday meals! It works well and produced 2 juicy and tasty turkeys. Love the ability to see inside through window so you don't have to worry whether it's booking well or not. It's also very quick compared to traditional oven times. I cooked two 8 lb turkey breasts in it at the same time and it took under two hours! I used a cordless Bluetooth thermometer to track it and couldn't believe it didn't take long! It is a bit bulky to store, but worth it!
