My 13 year old who has done quite a bit of the big brand building blocks kept busy with this one for a few days. It’s difficult enough to keep an older kid or adult engaged. Great details. Really good value for money. I’d get more from this brand because the projects are really cool looking, and the big brand is way overpriced.

This set is cute but kind of cheap pieces. They’re aren’t to scale with Lego but still a fun set to put together.

When I saw this set I knew we had to have it. It is very reminiscent of the ramen shops we've eaten at many times during our trips exploring Japan. Everything is modeled down to the little bowls of ramen on the counter and the ever present cat roaming around outside. We can't help but smile when we see it sitting on the shelf with other sets.

While overall the experience of building this was a lot of fun and the final product is extremely detailed, there was a huge disappointment in finding 6 pieces missing from the set. This wouldn't have been an huge issue if it was a piece within the interior design, but the pieces I was missing were pieces on the outside portion of the build, such as a small round black piece that acts as the lid for the red gas tanks. I was also missing a few poles that acted as the pipes for the gas. This was a huge disappointment as I already spent 3 hours to get to that point and I was pretty invested in getting this finished. The quality of the pieces isn't great as the bottom board is also bent and not flat. I tried to get into contact with customer service to see if I can get some replacement parts, but I was not able to contact anyone. This was a huge shame because besides these issues, this set was extremely detailed.
