Its real 8 Gauge OFC at an excellent price. I purchased it to replace a cheap boss CCA "8 gauge" (more like 10 AWG). I took some comparison pics. Black wire is InstallGear. It works great, no V drop. Is good for 500W RMS, maybe a bit more. It flexible and strips/crimps well. Will definitely buy again.

Absolutely performs as advertised. Exquisite quality and a nice price too. I'm running 2,000 watts through two Rockford fosgate amps and DSP. With a big three upgrade also. This is the best OFC wire. I'm running this for ground and power and my sound is much improved. I would recommend this for serious music lovers who like power. PURE POWER

Great amp wire to run in general, used in a 22 Civic. Clean power and amp has been running solid since installation. Spend the extra money and buy pure copper when installing amps in your cars.

Flexible, solders easily, insulation seems good and has good electrical properties. Made ground cables for the car, cut, crimped and soldered the ends on for max power transfer without heat. The insulation seems pretty good and withstands a good amount of heat. The cable itself can transfer some power without problem. Very easy to route anywhere I needed it to go. As good as it gets for heavier cables that look decent and like OEM. The only thing I will say that is a slight negative is I dont think this is the cable itself seems a bit thin for 4 gauge. The copper calble seems to be less of a diameter than what I would expect 4 gauge but in all fairness I did not actually measure it. I would buy it again, it does work well, it does the job I need it to do and looks good. I can recommend this for projects that need doing.
