I’m not sure where to start with this - although I pounced on it like a cat on a mouse, I feel like it has very niche appeal and I’m not sure who thought a “realistic” rubber Jesus mask would be a good business idea, nor who the target audience is (beyond religious kitsch addicts like myself). The products photos are laughably ridiculous, with the mask simply photoshopped onto a variety of stock photos. This seems to be an increasing trend and it’s frustrating when manufacturers do not provide real photos of a product in use. So these photos do not give an accurate impression of how the mask looks on, though they are accurate as to the look of the mask itself. I haven’t worn one of these over-the-head masks before and wasn’t sure how difficult it might be to put on, but it’s sufficiently oversized to go one easily, aided by a generous slit at the back. There are holes for the eyes and nostrils, though personally I think I would struggle to keep it on for very long. It’s priced at £12.99 at time of review which seems okay to me if I was on the market for a creepily realistic Jesus mask. Use it to sneak up on friends when they are behaving in a less-than-godly fashion, or celebrate a traditional Easter by wearing this for the egg hunt, jumping out from behind a rock to shout “I’m back!!” or just stretch it over a lampshade (low wattage bulb, naturally) to create some creepy Christian ambience in your home.

If you want to dress up as Michael Myers, for a party or Halloween, then this is a great mask. Well made, and not expensive, this mask will finish off any costume.
