As someone with hair down past my waist, it has a tendency to get in the way of things. I run a used car dealership and service garage so I have to do a number of things from cleaning to working on cars to cutting grass during my work day. A traditional ponytail doesn’t always work well for those activities. Once I got these hair ties my life become so much easier! Yes, my ponytail will still fall over my shoulder if I’m leaning over the top of a vehicle, but these ties make me feel safer. I know that even if it falls over my shoulder, my hair is more contained and much less likely to get caught up in any running parts.

The idea is great but it did not delivered as well as I hoped for. I used these to go scuba diving. I have long wavy hair. I tried it a few different times and I had lots of knots each time. The best way to use them is to fully wet your hair and put lots of conditioner. Do not rinse out conditioner. I tried it on dry hair and had massive dreadlocks when I got out of the water. It took a while to untangled without damaging my hair.

My hair is past my waist and these ties are great for cute pony tails makes buns have a little pizazz and I’ve done space buns with them as well!!!

They work really well! I’ve used the twice now and a friend used them once and we both loved them. I got them for scuba and my hair hasn’t been tangled. The only thing is is that they are reallyyy long but that’s fixable.

I bought these for my daughter and hopes it would keep her hair from tangling in the pool. They don't really stay in place and the tie that wraps around the ponytail goes down to the bottom. I'd rather use multiple hair ties. It is a cute idea but just wish that it stayed where we put it

The pictures below are from 4 HOURS SNORKELING THE GULF!!! Most reviews I’ve seen on this are for day to day so I tested my luck and went snorkeling/ scalloping in the water. I wrapped my hair up at 7am, it’s currently 3pm. I CANT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!!! Holy crap. My hair gets so matted when I braid it and get in the ocean, this gave me 0 matting. I was able to fully brush my hair in 2 minutes with my wet brush. Some complained that it’s too long, I disagree. I feel like it provided additional support to my hair. I’m not sure how long it’ll last but 4 for $10 isn’t bad. I’m pretty active so I’m excited to continue using these 😊

I was putting it in my hair and the bottom ring snapped immediately. They are too short and don't fully wrap around my hair.

I LOVE these for my curly kids!! My daughter has super long curly hair and boat days can be rough on it! Even in a pony tail it gets so knotty especially after she’s done swimming. These still let her hair get wet but it doesn’t clump up and tangle as much as long as I brush her hair before hand.

Used these multiple times for surfing and scuba diving. Definitely keeps my hair easier to manage than with traditional hair ties.
