Decent setup, Ok build quality
Itโs a decent setup, the only thing I donโt like is the build quality everything is plastic besides the support beams and the trays donโt snap in place rather sit, and the sketchiest part is the rubber drain plug on the sides.

Dryades Hydroponic Growing System Is Just the Best!!!
My family & I are so impressed with this system. We have 2 other popular brands, but this one has exceeded our expectations. it's worth every penny & the best. We just love it. We bought it this year in January, so far it has been working great. If you have issues or questions, their customer service is also the best & will respond very quickly. I highly recommend it & will gladly buy any product from them in the future.

Defective part how do I contact customer service?
During set up a tiny pin hole was discovered in the drain plug causing it to leak. Iโve tried locating contact info for customer service to no avail to get a replacement plug. I donโt want to return it over this, seems like a nice unit but it canโt be used if itโs leaking water all over. Anyone know how to contact dryades?

One pump did not work
One of the pumps did not work in the unit. Thankfully I was able to insert an air-stone and salvage the unit. Good buy otherwise.

Fully functional without any bells and whistles.
This is my third desktop style grow system, and by far my largest. This unit does not come with any seeds so you're going to need to source your own. This is where doing your research and understanding what plants thrive in a system of this type is important. Not all plants are equal and different types of plants have different type of requirements. Herbs and mixed greens are the easiest to grow in the system. Flowering / fruiting plants require a bit more space and you're really looking at the dwarf determinate varieties. You probably shouldn't mix flowering plants and leafy greens in the same system as they have different nutrient requirements. However one could argue that your leafy greens will cycle through at least once before your fruiting plants even start to mature. This unit does not come with an app or any "Smart" features, but has a 16/8 or 22/2 hour schedule that can be activated per layer. Further the unit does have quiet pumps and 44 pods that you can potentially plant in, and a fairly powerful spectrum light. That is an incredible amount of produce you can grow indoors with this unit. This unit comes on casters as well, which makes easier to move around, especially when populated with plants and water. Each tier can be powered on and configured separately. You select the mode that you want the machine to operate in. Modes have a preset light output based on the type of plant you selected. As the unit doesn't have any "smart" features, the start of the timing cycle is when the machine is powered on. I would recommend pairing this device with both a UPS and perhaps a smart switch. This way in the case of a power outage, you still retain the water pump / lights and you can toggle the smart switch to reset the clock as needed. There is a visual water indicator at the front of the unit. With this type of setup you'll need to monitor the water usage, check for root health, ensure the unit is neither too hot or too cold and the right humidity for your plants, and prune the roots / adjust the height of the light based off of the growing need. The kit comes with a great set of accessories to help you get started including all the pods, nets, caps, germination lids, nutrients, and hoses for draining / cleaning. This is a great unit for those already comfortable with indoor hydroponics and are looking to expand without taking up additional counter space. It's meant to be Hands-On and visited fairly regularly, and can survive going on vacation for a period of time.

A premium hydroponic system, but not the best place to start.
After two months with this hydroponic system, I am delighted! I said, I both levels when I first received it and now harvested successfully all sorts of greens. Your overall quality is very good. It was simple and easy to set up, and getting replacement pods/grow solutions has been very simple on Amazon. This is something I experience trouble with from another hydroponic system in the past, so I'm happy to see this one is fairly universal fit. For the bottom and top shelf there is a height, limitation as the light can only go up so high. Keep this in mind when selecting which plants you want to put into the system. Compared to smaller consumer level grow systems. This one is a bit noisier as the pump is larger. It's not distracting, but I wouldn't want this in the bedroom. So far I have had it running continuously for 9 weeks and it has been a great addition to my house. I keep it in a room in my basement where I can control the temperature a bit better. In winter I plan to move it to the second floor of my house which is naturally a bit warmer. The price is high, but it is a complete set, excellent quality, and feels premium. If you are new to hydroponics I recommend starting with a simpler benchtop kit. They are cheap and come with everything you need, minus the seeds. You'll end up spending 1/3 which is a big savings if you realize you don't like hydroponic growing. For those with some experience this has been a great addition to my indoor garden and really taken me to the next level.

Indoor gardening
I live in a condo so outdoor gardening is difficult. I have some planters in the balcony but thatโs limited. Also, I live in Canada where most of the year is winter and cold. Itโs great having an indoor hydroponics for year round herbs and vegetables. I mostly use this system for herbs. With all the spaces, I can grow all the herbs I use for cooking with more for those herbs I use regularly. I have also tried lettuce and tomatoes. Harvesting at the right time is key. This unit is pretty big. I liked the idea of not having a countertop one as I do t have a lot of table tops. I also like that I can wheel this around to where itโs convenient. This is a little too big for me but the concept is great. LED lights help the plants grow, especially during winter time when daylight is limited. You can set times for the light depending on how much light your plants require. No need for soil so it creates less mess and the need to have soil on hand. Water is always readily available. Just add fertilizer which is lacking without soil. The pumps keep the water moving to avoid mold and bacteria. You do have to clean it often to avoid grime and mold. Cleaning is a lot more than having potted plants.

Amazing All-In-One!
As arrived, box is brown but descriptive Out of the box, item is very well packaged with good foam and secure fit inside the box Once out, itโs a fairly solid unit with both planters having set-in plastic tops that easily remove to allow for cleaning; telescopic lights with touch controls, wired pumps with notches to allow for wiring to be removed, and 3 plug in options at the rear โ for lighting, pumps and power- either unit can be the primary which is excellent for versatility of your space Assembly is simple with a curved-edge square that matches the arms and the wheels โ again, allowing either unit to be the base Within each unit is a huge array of extras โ basically everything you need outside of the seeds! Lights are bright and easy to set for the desired plant Wheels are nice as well with a rubber coating allowing for durability and longevity Overall, extremely happy with the quality here โ this is an excellent, well-constructed and designed all-in-one!

Nurturing Nature Indoors
When I first unpacked the DRYADES 44 Pods Hydroponics Growing System, I was struck by its sleek design and the promise it held for bringing a bit of nature into my home. The system's LED grow light immediately caught my attention. It's designed to provide optimal light for plant growth, mimicking natural sunlight. I found this feature particularly intriguing, as it meant I could potentially grow plants year-round, regardless of the season or available natural light in my home. With 44 pods, the system offers ample space for a variety of plants. I appreciate the flexibility this provides; I can experiment with different herbs, leafy greens, and even small vegetables. The thought of harvesting fresh lettuce or basil from my kitchen counter is incredibly appealing. One aspect I particularly like is that this kit focuses on the growing system itself, without including seeds. This allows me to choose exactly what I want to grow, tailoring my indoor garden to my culinary preferences and nutritional needs. I plan to use this hydroponic system primarily for growing a selection of culinary herbs and leafy greens. I'm excited about the prospect of always having fresh basil, cilantro, and mint on hand for cooking. Also, I'm looking forward to trying my hand at growing compact vegetables like cherry tomatoes or small peppers. The idea of watching my plants grow from seed to harvest right in my kitchen is both exciting and educational. I anticipate this system will not only provide me with fresh, homegrown produce but also serve as a fascinating hobby and a way to connect with nature anytime of the year. While I'm still in the early stages of my hydroponic journey, I'm excited about the potential this system holds. It's more than just a gadget; it's a gateway to a more sustainable lifestyle and a closer connection to the food I eat. I highly recommend this system; it's the best way I've seen to provide fresh vegs. anytime of the year.
