Bought this for my son who had reached the age where he needed to start shaving. My local barber suggested a foil razor so went looking for one. Came across this on Amazon, and the reviews seemed positive. He didn't need anything super sophisticated so this fit the bill. Item was delivered quickly and came well packed and was surprisingly fully charged. I was also surprised at its size as it was smaller than expected but a nice size to hold and use. In use, the razor was not uncomfortable but did take a couple of passes to remove his light facial hair (note it worked better on my thicker and tougher hair). It cut efficiently and he didn't complain. Post first shave he did say that his upper lip was a little sore but he cooled that with a bit of cream and I put it down to the fact he'd never shaved before! He's used it twice now and the battery is down to 94% so I have high hopes for it lasting a long time between charges. He also says don't was a lot more comfortable 2nd time round as he knew what to do and no razor rash! The razor also comes with a custom moulded razor guard so the foil is protected between uses, but no cleaning brush or case to keep everything together, which is a shame. For the price and overall gentleness, I have been impressed and my son feels confident using it. One thing that you may want to know is that the head is fixed (so no flexing or contouring to your face) and also the two foils are staggered so forces you to hold it against your face at an angle. There's no inline comb for longer hair, but there is a push up trimmer to take care of that (and square up the sideburns) Overall a great first razor for the younger man and a decent travel razor for everyone else!

I purchased this Brightup Foil Shaver via Amazon approximately one month ago. It arrived well-packaged and on time on the 15th of October. Following the instructions, I charged it fully. When the indicator showed 100%, I turned it on, but absolutely nothing happened. I'll admit, with a very busy schedule, I didn't have time to investigate further immediately. I had hoped this product would be a convenient timesaver. About a week later, I tried again, and to my surprise, it actually worked. However, this success was short-lived. After a mere five minutes of use, it cut out completely and has refused to turn on since. I have attempted to recharge it multiple times, but all my efforts have been in vain. It is completely unresponsive. I am writing this review today as I finally have a moment to sit down and express my profound disappointment. This experience has left me thoroughly frustrated. I feel I have wasted my money. I had done considerable research comparing various market brands, and Brightup's product initially caught my eye. I was convinced it would simplify my daily routine, but I was sorely mistaken. Given this complete failure, I have lost all confidence in this brand and will certainly not be purchasing from them again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. I am now left to navigate Amazon's returns process, hoping for a refund or a replacement with a product that actually functions as promised. A truly unsatisfactory experience from start to finish.

Compact enough to toss in my travel bag too – perfect for business trips.

Not a bad shaver, but then it's not really good either. The battery life is amazing! Lasted me a whole month before a recharge was needed, and I shave every day. The shaver itself is ok, but with the lack of a long hair trimmer between the foils this is a big let down. Unless you are very meticulous with your shave every day you will get the odd long hair sprout up out of nowhere, very aannoying. Overall it's just ok.

This foil shaver was so easy to use and gave me a nice clean shave. It didn't irritate my skin. Battery life is good and it easily recharges. It would serve as a good travel shaver as it is of a compact size. Overall a good buy.

This is one of if not the best shaves I've had. My skin is quite sensitive and although it doesn't eliminate all irritation it is minimal and goes away within a short amount of time. It also turns out to work well for shaving my head as well. I have coarse hair (what's left of it) and my head is one big swirly cowlick. It runs quiet and charges quickly for its capacity. It uses about 12% to do everything and for me that is good with hair going in many different directions. The trimmer seemed cumbersome at first but I got used to it and while it doesn't get very close, that can be a very good thing as was found in more intimate areas. That means you can manscape those certain areas without cutting yourself like say happens with a Wahl let alone andis T. On that note, after replacing the battery and foil in my andis, the foil kept getting louder and eventually chewed up and I didn't see investing in it anymore after this unit happened to pop up in my search. The price seemed almost too low but at the same time, it is something that can be sent back and with good reviews, I figured it would be worth a shot. Time will tell if it lasts but it came with a 2 year warranty and the company's service rep did quickly respond by email (they have a phone number, to but haven't tried that) when the one problem I did have came up. That problem was the site not working with the camera code so it was registered by the rep. Update: the foil on the unit failed but the seller promptly sent me another complete shaver and increased the warranty period. Hopefully it will last as it does shave and trim quite well.

Eigentlich bin ich ein Nassrasierer. Trotzdem ist manchmal eine Trockenrasur nötig. Und da ist der Brightup Folienrasierer ideal. Eine gründlichen Rasur ist garantiert. Der Akku hält lange (USB-C). Meine Empfehlung für gelegentliche E-Rasuren und das Gerät liegt auch gut in der Hand.

This is a great little shaver/trimmer. It gives you a close, smooth shave. The trimmer is great, it gices full control when trimming down thicker hair. It's also very precise to help you shape your beardeer mustache to your liking. It has two power modes , and both of them are amazing. The safety mesh on this is awesome too. It quickly gets the job done with no sensitivity, bumpy red spots, rashes or razor burn! It is lightweight and small enough to be able to travel with you with no issues. This razor seems to be very durable and i feel it will last a very long time. I was very surprised with this razor and the price is on point. I highly recommend this for men and women. It's a wonderful razor.
