I use this dish soap every day for hand-washing dishes, glasses, and cookware, and it does a very good job cutting through grease without needing a lot of product. A small squeeze creates plenty of suds, and even oily pans come clean with minimal scrubbing. What I like most about the Pure + Clear formula is that it has a very light scent compared to many other dish soaps. It leaves dishes clean without any lingering fragrance, and it feels gentler on my hands during regular use. The consistency is slightly thinner than some ultra-concentrated soaps, but the cleaning performance is still excellent. Overall, this is a reliable everyday dish soap that cleans well and is a great choice if you prefer a low-fragrance formula. I feel like I've found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! After suffering through a patch test to finally figure out i had suddenly become allergic to isothiazolinone, I had to say farewell to my dawn dishsoap and an endless list of name brands and vast spectrum of products. I was able to find alternatives for most items but dishsoap was particularly problematic. Even the well-known, supposedly natural and health conscious brands, contained this common allergen as a preservative. I finally found Biokleen on amazon and used that for a while until I realized it contained grapefruit seed extract and I didn't like washing my cat's bowls with something highly toxic to her. So for a while now, I'd been making do with my ever-faithful, all-purpose baby unscented dr bronners castile soap but you can't beat the performance of actual name-brand dishsoaps. It was beyond expectation to find a brand name dishsoap without isothiazolinone plus being dye and fragrance free!!! Although I am not allergic to dyes and fragrance, I have preferred free and clear type products for a long time now and it baffles me why the selection is always so limited. Who needs blue dye staining their white washer soap receptacles or multiple competing, overpowering smells from your various hair, lotion, body soap, detergent etc products. No matter what it smells like, a chunk of your prospective customers will dislike the smell, anyway. From a sales perspective, I don't get it. All that to say, Palmolive, my cat and I are truly grateful.

While I really like the product, they need to improve on their packaging. This is the second time the tops have been dented in. It was shipped in a box with no extra packing material. Fortunately, they do wrap the top of the bottle in extra layers of plastic, but now I have to straighten them out to be able to use them. I'm leaving it as a 5 star rating, because I really like the product - no fragrance whatsoever and it does a good job sudsing up. The brand I used before changed and I can no longer tolerate the smell and how it would leave my dishes smelling like perfume. Why does everything have to have fragrance! Bottom line - this truly is fragrance free and does a good job.

Cleans dishes well & leaves no residue. Cuts through the greasiness. Smells good.

Smells good, cleans well but does not seem to rinse well. Leaves pan feeling slick. Can’t tell if this is from oil that didn’t rinse out or product residue. I rerinse before I cook in pans & wipe with paper towels just in case it’s soap residue.

I love how this is still the same as what I remember from Europe. Cleans well, doesn't have a scent and the bottle will last forever.

I have dry and sensitive skin, so I buy all our soaps fragrance-free and as natural as possible. This dish soap is the best and, at $3.97 a bottle with a subscription, the best deal of probably all the household cleaners we use. It is gentle on skin and my hands never feel chapped after using it. It cuts through grease easily and is a breeze to wash dishes with. I once ran out of our Palmolive and used some other (colored, not pure & clear version) dish soap, and I couldn't believe how quickly the dish rag started smelling nasty. I don't know how those chemicals do that, but our dish rags smell fine through days of use with this soap. I won't ever go back!
