I gave this as a gift to someone. It was much appreciated and was a hit with that person. The nice thing it is relatively small so it is easy to carry around. Obviously, not every bug is inside, but many common species can be found in it. The pictures are great too.

Well illustrated with great photos and detailed descriptions. Book is small enough to carry with you if you go hiking or something. Very pleased with this purchase. Well worth the price. Books are not cheap. You get your bang for your buck with this purchased in my opinion. For the average person who wants to learn more about insects and have an easy quick reference.

Decent book. Would be nice if you could get it more specific to Canada. My grandson enjoys identifying insects with it.

Fits in my camera bag perfectly.. very nice pictures and good descriptions. Doent ise a bunch oof technical terms, very easy to understand... highly recommended for hobbyists.

Good book and for the most part identification works, but I might recommend one for Canada only as we do have different bugs etc.
