Rotary Cheese Grater Hand Crank, Vegetable Shredder - Lilac & White

I absolutely love this grater! I wanted something that could handle both soft and hard cheeses as well as vegetables, without putting my fingers at risk every time I needed to shred something. This has been exactly what I was looking for! I've used it for everything from mozzarella to root vegetables, and it's handled everything beautifully. It's easy to use, saves my fingers, and cleanup is a breeze! The suction base can occasionally be a little tricky to get secured, although that could just be something on my countertop. Once it sticks, though, it stays put! My only real complaint is that a couple of months after I bought it, one of the little plastic tabs on a grater drum broke off. Fortunately, it hasn't affected how it works, but it's worth mentioning. Even with those minor issues, I'm extremely happy with it. It makes food prep so much easier, and I use it all the time!

I had a few other items from the Zulay line-up, and believe them to be superior to similar items from other sources. This grater does not disappoint. I've wanted one for a long time and have looked at numerous listings, but I've always been hesitant that I'd get something flimsy and a waste of my time and money. Then I saw this from Zulay, I made my move. It looks nicer -- I'm sort of into the visual aspect of things I choose -- and it looked more substantial. I think it probably is substantially more substantial. It has good weight without being heavy. It is easy to assemble and to break down for cleaning. It suctions onto the counter like a champ. I feel like I could grate a huge amount of cheese quickly with no problem. I can zip through a half pound of hard cheese and clean it up the grater in half the time it takes to just set up the attachments on our big stand mixer. While it is mostly plastic, I think it's going to last a long time. So, it's fast, it's convenient, it looks good, works great, is built to last, and I like it. A lot. And it looks pretty good standing beside my KitchenAid Artisan.

This is an amazing work horse in the kitchen. It’s so fast to use for cutting up vegetables. It’s fantastic to use for zucchini bread to grate your squash. It’s easy to clean and very versatile

Title says it all. After I stupidly knicked my finger horribly on a traditional cheese grater, I said enough. This thing rocks. Great price. Easy to clean, assemble, and store. Stays securely on my countertop when in use. Gets the job done quick when I don't want to lug out my food processor. No more fear of taking off my fingers! My only gripe is I'm really bummed it does not have a smaller/fine cheese grater portion. I would gladly switch out one of the julienne options for that since I rarely use them and the blade that it does come with for cheese is very course and sometimes a tad big. Overall, would buy again. I like this thing a lot!

First of all, the slicing blade is truly sharp. Make SURE you only handle by the edges (small cut on the tip of my middle finger from my own carelessness.) The mechanism is reasonably sturdy, but when grating a pretty dry piece of aged parmesan cheese, it was hard to crank. Make sure you’re not pushing down too hard on it. Everything fits together quickly and easily. The julienne blade worked great on carrots, and I sliced Easter Egg radishes cleanly on the slicing blade. Recommended.

Easy to assemble, works great, and clean-up is also easy because the various attachments can be popped out for a thorough washing. Soon as I received it I shredded a large brick of cheese and on the following day made fresh hash browns. Looking forward to using the other attachments. It stays in place while using having perfect countertop suction. I have a tall glass bowl that fits nicely just under the neck to catch the shreds. Would recommend Zulay unit over my previous purchase of a similar style shown on social media. I had returned because it shaved the inner plastic housing when grading cheese on the first use. I didn't realize it had happened until after washing it and eating the meal with melted cheese which most likely had been mixed with clear plastic pieces.

Product is as described. However when zesting a lemon the chamber that holds the item to be grated/zested got scratched and the acid in the lemon etched the chamber walls. the plastic does not hold up to the acid etc.

I had a different rotary grater before this one and hated how easily it would clog, so I decided to try this one instead. So far, I’m really happy with it! The suction to the counter is great, and I love that the crank screws on because it makes it feel much sturdier. It didn't clog at all, the inserts are easy to clean, and I love having so many different options. It feels strong, is easy to use, and was a great price. Definitely an upgrade from my old one!

It’s brilliant as I’ve orthopedic arthritis on my thumb. I like the trunk handle and easy assess for grating cheese etc. Easy clean and set it up. Also got suction onto worktop. Love this item! Worth buying.
