What a great kit! The box is so heavy for its size, any birthday child would be excited to find out what it is before they even begin to unwrap it. I'm not sure why the title/packaging makes such a big deal of "glow-in-the-dark" because it's the wooden-ness that is really the star of the show, and it comes with a TON of flair that isn't all glow-in-the-dark. Anyway - it is so overloaded with more things than I expected. THICK wad of stickers. Tons of glitter and plastic gemstones. More one-time-use paint colors than are normally provided. High-quality laser-cut wood creatures. Beautiful tree rings on enough round blocks for a child to remake *this* gift of a kit into *more personalized gifts* for all of their friends! I got slightly different stickers than in the listing picture and they lean more toward the girly side, but most of the other stuff can just as easily be enjoyed by the average boy. This was ordered as a gift (for a girl turning 9) but since the box wasn't really "sealed" I had to open it and take a look at all the wonderful pieces (and take pictures to prove to y'all that they're really as good as described!) My only concern is that there are a number of tubes (of paint? glue?) that aren't labeled; and it's not clear that the "diamond pens" are what they are and I don't think I would have figured it out on my own. There are no instructions in the box, so unless you're giving it as a gift to someone else's child, never to be seen again, you should take note via the Amazon pictures of what's what to make crafting easier.

I order this product package was not sealed and missing pieces. I got a replacement that was also not sealed when it arrived. I wanted it for present to I kept the one that mostly complete. Will not buy again Package needs to be sealed

This is a box full of goodies and because so many of the items are made from wood, it's gender neutral. All the art supplies are well sorted, something that's especially important for all of the small diamond shapes that tend to fall all over the place during playtime. There are 20 rustic-looking wooden disks that have a string hole drilled through them, as well as a variety of small wooden owls. The set has a 'Little House on the Prairie' feel to it and I think it's wonderful to be able to give a children's gift that is not all plastic. With the amount of art supplies it comes with, it also seems like a reasonable price.

This is a craft box to hold aside for a rainy day when the kids are bored. The box is crammed full of paints, glitter glue sticks, stickers, and other assorted decorations, the eyes are especially cute. The wood slices are varied in sizes, and all are drilled with a hole to put the twine through for hanging. The set comes in a box suitable for gifting. No instructions are in the set. I guess the images on the box are supposed to be a guide for inspiration. I feel this is where the set fails on assuming kids would all be creative enough to figure this out. The box states for age 3+, which gives me pause. Only with intense supervision or else everything in sight will be stickered, glittered, and painted. Independently this set is more suited for starting with the age 6+ group. I like the craft set, it offers a lot of creativity and fun, just caution to make sure it safe with the young user.

We got this as an activity with our grandkids. They always like to create and we like to find these types of activities to keep them busy. This will be a fun activity with the gems and all of the paint options. The pack of 'stickers' are actually tattoos, and I could not find any way that we could use them on the wood. Since it is real wood, there are pieces of bark crumbs to clean up.

Some wood pieces are brittle and flaking off. Dissatisfied with how it arrived and the quality of materials.

Paint was all empty as if it had been used. Without paint the kids weren't able to do the activity so what's the point. Purchase a different brand.

This kit is so cute! I had no idea that temporary tattoos could adhere to wood, either, so that's awesome! We haven't used it much yet, but I looked through everything and checked it all out and it comes with so much! The tattoos, paint, glitter, beads, twine, the wood, and more! Definitely a good kit for a child birthday party, fun group activity, or just a nice day in for creating. You could also customize these and turn them into gifts. The possibilities are endless!
