Excellent and comfortable from out of the box, just walked 10k with no issues, over rough terrain. Great quality worth the money. Can’t advise on waterproofing as yet, but may keep you posted. Sizing as stated, but will easily accommodate thicker socks (I’ve worn them with danish endurance sock, slight sliding in boot), boots are agile (excellent grip on slopes) and lightweight.

States on both Amazon site & boot box that 100% waterproof, unfortunately they're not, showerproof but heavy or torrential they let in rain as if wearing slippers. Pay over the top price because buying a so called well known brand & advertised as completely waterproof, one of a few stitch ups on Amazon. bought on July 4th now writing this October 10 (4 months) 100% tread/grip sole pattern completely worn away. Products should be regulated & tested before being advertised & sold as completely waterproof, it's not fair, out of order & taking money under false pretences...

Always seem to get shoes that seem like they have been returned multiple times from Amazon. However, as always, Columbia shoes are excellent. The five star is the boot and not the service

Unlike some reviewers, I have actually worn these for a while. They're comfortable and for the price (I paid £60 on Amazon) good value. They're absolutely not 100% waterproof, but they are water-resistant, which is fine for my use, as I mainly wear these to walk to the shops and stuff like that. Heel support isn't great and it can sometimes feel like your ankle is moving around in the boot, so you have to re-tighten the laces every now and again. I've not done that many miles in them and the soles are already starting to wear away, which for a cheap boot is expected - the soles are very soft material, which makes them comfortable, but not long lasting. If you're looking for dedicated walking/hiking boots that are waterproof and long lasting, I'd give these a swerve, but for casual use and comfortable feet - at the price they're OK.

I have been wearing these for over a year now. They are hard wearing, waterproof and supremely comfortable. Defintely recommend.
