Exactly as advertised. Perfect fit. Comes with three replacement washers for each section. Easy to fill. Time will tell if it helps with th evaporation, but so far so good. Fair price for what feels like a good quality item.

If you're thinking of buying one of these kits to address the fundamental design flaw with the Zippo lighter, don't be surprised if the improvement is marginal. I bought one because my son recommended it as a solution to the evaporation issue with Zippos, but I don't think it made much (if any) difference to mine. It still needs refilling every day. I'll stick with the peanut lighter I bought from Heinnie Haynes several years ago, and which seems to last for a year or more without needing refilling. Either that, or the gas converter kit if you like the appearance of the Zippo.

I came across this while searching for Zippo lighter fluid and flints. I've seen the black plastic type but didn't think much of them, but this one looked a lot more functional. I'm pleased with it, as said we'll made, easy to install, the instructions are on the Web page. Mine came with the seals pre-fitted and there are a spare set included. The only little niggle is I find it difficult to lift the filler arm, but use tip of a knife and once raised its fine. A better way to fill with fluid I think. There is a space for a spare flint, but I've always kept one in the centre hole of the felt pad anyway. As to how much evaporation loss it provides is unknown at the moment, but is must be better I would say? I have a few Zippos, the one it's fitted to I've had for 43 years now and is as reliable as day one. So even if it doesn't save a huge amount of fluid loss, I will get some more as it looks very stylish and certainly better better than a bit of black plastic shoved in the end - in my opinion that is!

This ACTUALLY WORKS! Ive been using Zippo lighters daily for nearly 30 years. This little gadget has definitely improved how long the fuel lasts and when i overfill the zippo it stops the fuel vapour "wetting" the seam when the case is closed (if you use zippos then you should get whet i mean by that). The spare flint storage space is okay but the flint did seem to soften a fraction after a week or so was noticeable on striking but didn't stop it from working. I put an extra O ring from the spares bag around the filler cap for a better seal as just having one O ring didn't quite seem to make a tight seal but with an extra one it works perfectly

Looks lovely and very well designed and high quality, but actually reduced time between refills, didn’t increase it, not worth the money

Demande un peu de méticulosité pour le montage Réduit considérablement l’évaporation de l’essence même si ne l’empêche pas complètement. Normal car l’évaporation se fait par d’autres parties du briquet.
