Treat it like a fountain pen. Don’t jostle it around, be mindful that fountain pen ink isn’t the same kind that is used in standard rollerballs or ballpoints. I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now and I’m very happy with it. It writes with all the fluidity of a fountain pen, but with the precision of a rollerball. Keep in mind that since you’re using fountain pen ink, the kind of paper on which you write matters. I hope they will expand their line in the future to include larger pen tip sizes -currently they only have a 0.7 (I’d like to see a 1.0). I could t be happier with this pen.

I love a good weighty pen and that’s just what I got. In love with the visual design too. I know some do like the look of the twist part of the pen but I do. Very elegant looking pen. A few things kept me from giving it 5 stars. 1. The roller ball only comes in a medium nib. For this price there should be more options. 2. There is no way to lock the twist top, this would have prevented accidental turning and getting ink everywhere, which I have already done. 3. I don’t like the fact that The pen cap will not fit over the back of the pen snugly. If you can lose it I will and 4. I only got 1 ink cartridge in my packaging and I nearly missed it in the box. I can live with the latter but #1 and 2 are big, they affect the writing experience. Lucky 99% of my clothes are black. All I can think of is someone having a white shirt on and accidentally turning that twist accidentally. Oh my.

This pen somehow manages to be the best rollerball pen that I've tried AND the worst at the same time. I've been collecting fountain pens and rollerball pens for 20+ years. I've been pretty disappointed overall with the rollerballs, so I mostly focus on fountain pens, but I still regularly try new rollerball pens when a new one catches my eye. I had high hopes for this one, but am left mostly disappointed. I like the style of this pen a lot. It's a bit thinner than I prefer, but still comfortable to write with. The screw-on cap is annoying, especially since it posts very poorly - you're better off just tossing it to the side while you use the pen. A click-on cap that actually posts properly to the back of the pen would have been much preferred. As far as writing goes, this is definitely the best rollerball that I've tried. It writes very smoothly and consistently and lays down a line that's JUST wet enough, so the ink dries quickly. I've had no issues with it starting and it hasn't "globbed" up or run at all. The included ink cartridge writes well and dries quickly and, honestly (unfortunately), I think the cartridges are the way to go with this pen. I don't like using cartridges, tho - I prefer to use my own inks and that is where this pen flops. The mechanism for drawing ink up into the pen is a complete failure. The knob on the end of the pen is one of the main features of this pen but it just doesn't work. The internal piston converter has a little hex piece on the end that is supposed to interface with the knob on the body of the pen, but the hex piece is relatively loose on the piston converter, so it often just spins and spins without actually turning the piston screw. The pen simply cannot be filled by using the external knob. To fill it, you have to completely remove the piston converter from the pen and grip the twist knob at a point below that hex piece. It's a shame, because this pen writes so well.

This pen looks and sounds fancy in the description, but after a month of use, it exploded and ruined both the top of a desk and a change of clothing. Avoid.
