As advertised. Fits up to 8 credit cards. There is a spot in the middle for a couple of folded bills if you must. This is an alternative to carrying a wallet. The threads are okay. I cut off the ring. I like the item and use it all the time thus the five stars. The credit cards are easy to remove.

Nice size, cute design and stretchy material. Well made. A bit hard to remove credit cards/license(even within the limit of # recommended)but I’m hopeful that will become easier over time as the material breaks in.

Bought this for my son to carry his license and cc on his lanyard. Worked great! Upgraded to the Thread wallet that allows him to carry cash as well. Great company! Well made products!

I absolutely adore this little wallet! I admit I was skeptical and a little taken aback when I saw just how small it was, but I'm able to put in 6 cards plus some cash and it feels really secure! I've only had it one day, so I haven't really tested it under normal daily activity. But when I got it and first put my cards in, I shook it all around and twirled around my finger and nothing fell out! The elastic is perfectly stretchy and accommodating. So hopefully that's a good sign. I wanted this wallet because I recently switched to a super small purse that I carry by hand; there's no body or shoulder strap. But the purse itself is tiny! It could really be just a really big wallet. Anyway, because of that downsize I had to downsize everything else I was carrying and my big, clunky cell phone wallet was the first to go! Now, with this cute Thread Wallet and my other essentials (having a small purse and wallet truly makes you think what's really necessary to take with you), everything fits in my cute little purse just great! Plus, I love that in the event I don't even want to carry my little purse , I could just grab the Thread Wallet and still be all set! I decided that I'm not going to attach my Thread Wallet to my keys or anything because other reviews I read said that piece of fabric on the key ring eventually tears and the wallet falls off. Not willing to take the risk. But overall I love the look, size, small footprint, and the cute design! Depending on how my first one holds up, I might buy some more. I bought my first Thread wallet July 2019, so it lasted just under a year before the side seam started to split. The key ring portion is hanging on pretty strong and I was surprised that even when I pulled on it, that last loop is not giving. It’s also still very secure too! Even though I think it could last for a few more months, I’ve decided it’s time to replace it since it’s attached to my car keys. I bought this wallet as part of my goal to stop carrying a purse and so much STUFF. Now that I’ve carried this wallet and only this wallet for just about a year, I don’t see myself going back to carrying a bag. I carry my ID and two cards, plus a handful of cash and I’ve never had anything ever come loose. I carry this everywhere in my pockets (hence why it’s a little dirty in the photos) and have never had to worry about losing the contents and it’s never stretched out. It’s so convenient when traveling, being outdoors, going out with friends, and I love not having to worry about a bag. I put this through a lot and so I consider the fact that it’s lasted a year (and probably still has life left) a plus. I appreciate it enough to buy a second one to replace the first. At this price, strength, durability, and minimalist size, it’s worth it to me to replace.

UPDATE 2: It’s approximately 4 years later, and I’m still using the same one. Still holding up well, still really like it. Gotta say, I think this is just about the best buy you can make if you want a minimalist wallet for cheap. ————- UPDATE: It’s 6 months later and honestly I’m surprised how well it’s holding up. No threads, still just as tight as day one. Good buy. ————- I love this thing. It looks nice and has a low profile, but that's not really what I love about it. You could know those things by looking at it. I love it because it's a minimalist wallet that isn't super expensive. Let's be real, it's elastic, it isn't going to last as long as a leather wallet no matter how good it is. But that's ok, because it doesn't cost $70 like a leather wallet, or like any of the rip-off minimal wallets that are currently fleecing EDC'ers with more money than sense. That said, it feels like as good of elastic as you could possibly wish for. It keeps a really secure grip on everything and I'm surprised at how little I worry about anything sliding out. This wallet is for people who really only have a handful of cards. The easy-access slots are easy, but the stuff in the middle is pretty hard to pull out. It's for stuff you have to carry but rarely use, not stuff you pull out every day. So if you have 4 different cards you use on the daily, give this one a pass. If you are as functionally minimalist as you are aesthetically minimalist, this is a good buy.

Ich hab jahrelang einen dieser klassischen Wülste in der Hosentasche mitgeschleppt. Irgendwann hatte ich genug davon und bin auf die minimalistische Variante umgestiegen. Das Thread Wallets ist seit einigen Monaten mein täglicher Begleiter – und ich vermisse das alte Portemonnaie kein bisschen. Das Konzept ist simpel: Karten rein, Scheine falten, fertig. Wer wie ich ohnehin fast alles per Karte zahlt, merkt schnell, dass man eigentlich nie mehr braucht. Drei bis vier Karten und ein paar Scheine für den Notfall – das reicht im Alltag völlig aus. Was mich am meisten überzeugt hat: Man merkt es in der Hosentasche schlicht nicht. Kein Drücken, keine Beule, kein unbewusstes Nachgreifen ob er noch da ist. Sitzt flach, bleibt flach. Karten und Scheine lassen sich trotzdem schnell rausnehmen – das war mein größter Zweifel vorher, hat sich aber als kein Problem herausgestellt. Wer gerade überlegt, ob der Wechsel zu einem schlanken Wallet wirklich Sinn macht: macht er. Man gewöhnt sich in zwei Tagen dran und fragt sich danach, warum man so lange gewartet hat.

I love this wallet. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket and it has little dividers that make it easier to get your cards out. It has a ring to attach to your key chain. I added a mini carabiner to mine so I could easily detach it from my keys.

It's everything I wanted. Nice wallet, very compact. I had my cards and some money bills. I'd say it lasts around 1 year. It loosens and the color looks dirty even after washing.
