Not bad, but expected better - REVISED Not the monitor's fault
I got this to replace one of my 20 year old 20'' monitor. I felt it was time for an upgrade. In some ways it is and some not so much. Colors are great. Features are decent at the price point. Dual HDMI was key so I could use for work and gaming. My old monitor didn't have an HDMI, USB or display port. My biggest issue with it is the sharpness. Mainly the display of text. It has a slight fuzz to it. My 20 year old monitor is still sharper than this one. I went into the settings and the default was on level 2. I bumped it up to 4 (which is max) and while it did help it still visibly shows the fuzz. Not an unusable monitor, but definitely noticeable having multiple (different model 24'') monitors side by side. REVISED UPDATE: After many attempts of trying to resolve my 'fuzz' it seems my laptop or dock to display to dual monitors (via USB-C) may be the issue due to age or lack of graphics or display properties. I removed the dock and just displayed to this monitor and it cleared up. NO FUZZ! In short, the monitor is great. I just need to update some other components to have the clarity when using both monitors, or go back to using my older dock that attaches to the bottom port of my laptop as this method provides clarity even when using three monitors. Eventually upgrading my laptop to work with my USB-C multi display port for full potential.

Great Monitor with one glitch
I have been using this monitor in my home office for several months. I do not use it for gaming. I do connect three PCs into this monitor and use the built in KVM functionality to switch between PCs. This is where the glitch becomes apparent. If you choose an offering that is not connected to a powered on, active session, upon completing the choice the monitor goes black and getting the monitors menu to display to select a different system results in a brief, unusable menu. The resolve is to disconnect all of the input cables, unplug the power supply, wait 15 seconds. Plug in ONLY the power supply and power up the monitor. The monitor should display No Inputs. Use the menu to select a cable from an Active PC. At this point the cables can be reconnected.

It has always been a very trusted brand
I have used this Dell G2725D gaming monitor for a long time, and it really makes me feel that it is worth the money! First of all, the 27 in screen is just the right size, not too big or too small. It does not take up space on desktop and provides enough vision. The QHD resolution display effect is very clear. Whether playing games or watching movies, the picture details are very delicate, the colors are also bright, and it looks very comfortable. Refresh rate and response speed are really important for gamers, and this monitor performs very well in this regard. When playing FPS games, the picture is smooth and not leggy, the operation response is also very sensitive, there is no problem of ghosting at all, and the experience is directly maximized. its eye protection mode is also very helpful, you will not feel eye fatigue even if you stare at the screen for a long time. The design of the monitor is also simple and generous, and the bracket can be adjusted, which is very flexible to use. I think this monitor is great in terms of picture quality, performance and practicality, and it is very cost-effective, especially suitable for gamers or users who need high-quality display effects.

An absolute piece of junk.
While cheap, this is just about the worst monitor I have ever owned. 1440p @ 27" with no dead pixels is nothing to complain about but the viewing angles are TERRIBLE. Everything else is worth complaining about. The colors are bad and the edges look different due to the horrendous viewing angles. If you shift your seating position by just 3 inches the left/right edges look visibly different. The menus offer NO customization for anything, like, at all. Zero settings other than input selector and the most basic settings you could imagine. Things you may have taken for granted on other monitors will not be present with this one. The only way this gets 180Hz is from DisplayPort, and the HDMI ports are limited to 144Hz. The DisplayPort is set in a way that actually turns the damn screen off completely when not detecting a signal. If you have a PC connected to it via DP and shut that PC off, the monitor shuts down too and has to power back on just to access menus to switch to a different input like an HDMI. This process takes quite a long time. Other monitors typically just turn off the backlight and wake that upon user inputs, but this one needs a complete reboot every time the DP source shuts off. Every compromise that you could think of and more has been done with this monitor. There isn't a single good thing about this screen other than the fact that it can technically output 1440p@180Hz with compromised viewing angles for a single input source. Nevermind the fact that HDMI 2.1 is supposed to allow for uncompressed 4:4:4 10-bit 1440p @ 240Hz with plenty of bandwidth to spare, Dell is out here using and advertising HDMI 2.1 ports even though they're limited to pitiful 2.0 speeds. DO NOT BUY Any other comparable product on the market will be a better choice even if it costs you double. Forums online suggest that Dell doesn't even make this, but just puts their name on it, because it's nearly identical to a cheap ASRock monitor. If you buy this monitor you are basically getting scammed. Avoid it at all costs. In my opinion the CEO of Dell should be in prison or at least on trial for widespread fraud and consumer abuse and false advertising for allowing products like this to make it to the market. This product is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.

Beautiful monitor & well built.
Has a beautiful image with a thin border frame around the panel. Colors are reproduced very well and looks great even at lower than native resolution settings. If you have eye-sight issues this is a great monitor because you can easily see everything without blowing up the text size and it's not TOO big that you have to move your head like you're watching a tennis match to see the whole display. I'm buying another one or two for my other computers as well.
