The first trick with this item is getting the color choice you select. We wanted YELLOW, but received GRAY. We had them replace the item, but then received WHITE! We were unable to get the Yellow version. Also, if you are expecting it to come with a litter box that fits in the litter box drawer, there isn't one. Good luck finding a letter box that fits in the drawer. The instructions to put the cathouse together are terrible. You pretty much just have to figure it out yourself what to do. To add to this difficulty, the item was missing a number of parts. We had to go to the hardware store and buy parts to "jerry-rig" it together. Also, some of the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong place, off by maybe just a ¼" but enough so that we had to drill our own holes in order to put it together. Once you get it together, you discover that many of the "windows" are big enough for small kittens to climb out through. So we had to again jerry-rig these openings by adding extra dowels everywhere. It was a lot of work!!! The cat house is very adorable, but all these problems make it deserve a 1-star review.
