Our first "real" amilight tv has not let us down. This replaced an old tv with one of those stick on kits to provide the rear light show. This far exceeds the previous effects and is super simple to use, just turn the tv on. The intensity of the lights can be adjusted, although we have found the default settings very suitable, making watching the tv "easier" on the eyes. The TV picture quality is great and very usable for day to day tv watching and the ocassional 4k Bluray film, all displayed with amicable ease. The sound seems ok, however we use an external AV Amplifier so cant really comment about the full sound capabilities. A good bit of kit, although it would be fantastic if the ambilight feature was across the bottom of the tv, especially in our wall mount situation.

Was so happy to upgrade to this and wasn’t disappointed, the tv looks lovely, the lights are great and then you try and use it. Honestly the os is completely unusable and so slow. It is impossible to find apps quickly and just beyond sluggish. I was upgrading from a 6/7 year old Samsung and even that is so much faster than this, honestly so disappointed with this. Going to buy a streaming stick to make the best of a bad situation.

I bought the model 65PUS8109/12. My first week with this TV has been amazing. The ambient lights make a huge difference, it’s unbelievable nice watching movies with this feature on. The OS is faster than my previous TV Samsung 2021, doesn’t crash or get stuck, so having read reviews complaining about the new Philips OS performance, I wouldn’t agree with them, however as people's expectations aren’t all the same, I can understand their point of view, as it’s not very very fast, but still far better than my previous Samsung 2021 TV. The images quality is very good compared to how much I spent (£599 of offer). The sound is great and intense. I just found a little scratch on the front, which was coming from the factory, as there was the film protection on top, but it didn’t bother me too much. One thing a noticed on the Amazon advert is that the controller doesn’t have the Disney+ button, as one of the images shows, so check the Philips website to see the actual controller this TV has. I can’t say anything about longevity of this TV, I’ll update my review if anything of relevance comes out.

I have had this tv for about 5 months now and it has matched my expectations and I think is very good value if it fits your circumstances as it does mine. The picture quality is decent but seems a little jumpy for fast paced sports but I do watch a fair amount of sport and it’s not noticeable enough to be annoying in my opinion. This tv lacks smart tv capabilities and the chip in this tv is probably not very good compared to more expensive ones so can be a bit slow and glitchy if you ran YouTube app from the native software on the tv for instance. which is why it is cheap but if you use a gaming console as the brains of the operation to run your entertainment system this will not be an issue at all. The ambi lights are gimmicky but that being said even after the novelty wore off I still turn it on for certain scenarios and it’s a cool feature to have.

Can't complain, it's a telly with 4k, but like others have said, the OS on this is awful. Fine TV but go for it if you just want the lights like I did I knew there was no light strip along the bottom but would have been cool for when it's wall mounted. I am happy with the purchase because I just use a firestick for everything (you can set this up for turning the tv on/off etc.) Ambilight is great if you have a dark living room

Ordered the 65 inch version for myself a year before and was really pleased with the tv so ordered the 55 inch for myself aunt and uncle. After 3 months it had broke contacted Amazon and they arranged a tv repair man to come out and have a look. Apparently the main board had broke so he ordered a new one, which took around a month to come in and then a further 2 weeks for him to come out and fit it. Once he left then realised the new board that was fitted was for a different region/country so couldn’t get free view channels. Now waiting for another main board to be delivered and fitted, have also noticed that some of the leds on the back of the tv are now also not working. Would not recommend to anyone

This TV has genuinely exceeded my expectations—it's a fantastic piece of tech. One of the standout features for me is the Ambilight technology. It adds an incredible immersive touch, especially in my RGB-themed gaming room, syncing beautifully with the overall aesthetic and creating a more engaging atmosphere while gaming or watching content. Even when used as a PC monitor, this TV performs exceptionally well. Despite running at 4K 60Hz, the image quality is crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the overall experience is smooth and satisfying. For general use and gaming, it's more than adequate. As for the built-in apps, I haven’t paid much attention to them since I primarily use external devices or a PC, but I assume they function well enough for most users. Since I haven’t encountered any issues or faults so far, I’m completely satisfied with this purchase. Overall, this TV is an excellent addition to any gaming or entertainment setup. Highly recommended. 👍

Für den Preis ist der Fernseher wirklich top. Die Grundlagen: Ambilight - welches das Bild optisch nochmal vergrößert, gutes Display und der Sound geht auch in Ordnung (wobei natürlich bei TVs immer eine Soundbar oder eine Anlage empfehlenswerter ist). Einziges kleines Manko für mich - es wäre schöner wenn das Ambilight nicht nur dreiseitig wäre, sondern auch am unteren Bereich installiert ist. Ich hatte erst etwas Sorge, da einiges manchmal überdramatisiert wird (z.B. lange Startzeit beim Hochfahren, billigste Fernbedienung) - da kann ich aber beruhigen, es hält sich alles im Rahmen, ich hatte auch schon wesentlich schlimmere Fernbedienungen in der Hand. HDR hat er auch, VRR erkennt meine Konsole jedoch nicht - evtl. liegt dies an irgendwelchen Einstellungen. Softwaretechnisch sind Philips Fernseher nicht wirklich die besten, das ist mir schon im Bekanntenkreis aufgefallen, da z.B. die Software öfter mal abschmiert oder der TV freezt. Das hatte ich bisher noch nicht (wäre ja auch schlimm). Ich muss aber auch gestehen, dass ich die vorinstallierten Apps auf dem Fernseher sowieso nicht nutze und dementsprechend nicht viel in seinem Menü herumspiele. Er ist bei mir nicht mal mit dem Netzwerk verbunden, weshalb ich das gar nicht bewerten möchte und kann. Ein Manko für Leute, welche das interessiert, ist, dass durch das neue TitanOS von Philips nur bestimmte Apps freigegeben sind und einige Wichtige fehlen sollen. Da müssten Interessierte halt etwas genauer hinschauen. Wer hier aber einen relativ großen Fernseher für einen passablen Preis sucht, ist beim Philips Ambilight 65PUS8109 gut bedient. Ich finde ihn empfehlenswert.

Ciao, senza dilungare troppo. Se non volete spendere troppo per un OLED questa è la soluzione. Modello 2024 -AMBILIGHT è atomico, niente a che vedere con le strisce (anche quelle con la cam) che potete trovare dagli 80 ai 150euro. Riesce perfino ad emulare il movimento del vento e della luce. -PANNELLO di qualità,manca un pelo di luminosità ma ha dei contrasti ottimi e dei bei neri uniformi anche agli angoli (cosa non da poco se non è OLED) confrontata con una Samsung 2024 non c'è paragone. È ottimo peccato per i 120hz. -SMART TV: e qui se non siete degli smanettoni è la perfezione assoluta. Avete l'ecosistema Philips con hub integrato. Se comprate delle luci PHILIPS potete dire all app dove le avete posizionate e seguiranno l'immagine a schermo (ATOMICO). ALEXA INTEGRATO. SMART TV FACILE E VELOCE CON UNA FACILITÀ DI UTILIZZO DISARMANTE. Ogni cosa si connette automaticamente. -AUDIO: superiore alla media rispetto al prezzo. Ovvio che con una soundbar o un sistema audio cambia tutto. COSA NON MI È PIACIUTO. -BORDI un po' troppo spessi. Più sottili avrebbe accentuato ancora di più l ambilight. -120hz MANCANTI. ok che è una fascia medio bassa ma siamo nel 2024 e da Philips me lo sarei aspettato. Nota di demerito ad AMAZON che nel 2024 non è ancora riuscita a dividere le RECENSIONI per ANNO E MODELLO.

Achetée en remplacement d’une télé qui montrait des signes de fatigue, je suis très satisfait de cet achat ! La qualité de l’image est top surtout branché sur une PS5 avec un câble hdmi compatible HDR ! L’ambilight apporte un effet vraiment simpa pour les jeux, les films ou même en synchronisation avec de la musique ! Je n’ai pas d’avis sur le son de la télé car je l’ai branchée sur mon home cinéma, sinon très bon produit ! Je recommande !
