I love it!
I don't like wearing wrist watches, so having a smart ring is PERFECT for me! I love how durable it is, it's easy to clean, and the app that comes with it is GREAT! The tracking on this thing is flawless and it uses light sensors to track my vitals, so it doesn't even feel like a smart device, just a regular ring! It also charges very quickly, so if I'm using the bathroom or taking a shower at home, I just pop it on the charger for 10-15 minutes and it's good for a few days! I only do it daily just to establish a good routine, and I have forgotten before and let the battery get low, but still haven't had the power die on me yet! I can see it being an issue for lifting weights since it's coated in stainless still and a little bulky, but otherwise very comfortable for other forms of exercise! I can also see it being a problem because of the red and green light sensors at night, it might be disruptive to light sleepers in a dark room, but I just keep my hands under my blankets or pillows, and I sleep just fine! It doesn't light up all the time, just periodically throughout the night. If the tiny lights at night might bother you, you can probably put a thick sock or a glove over your hand at night to block the light. I'm personally not inconvenienced by it at night, and I like that I can't feel anything when it checks my vitals (heart rate, blood oxygen, temperature, just to name a few). I wound up subscribing to the app anually because I really liked how easy it was to set up and how thorough its analysis was for my overall health. UPDATE: Recently I noticed the ring was draining too fast between charges and I actually needed to charge it everyday! I reached out to customer service via the app, they asked a few questions, and shipped me another one immediately! It was refurbished, not brand new, but it works like new and I would never have known the difference if they didn't tell me! I keep the old one as a backup just in case since they said I don't need to send it back. I basically haven't stopped wearing the Oura ring since I put it on, and I've used it on long walks, swimming (fully submerged in water), and for general daily activities and it works great! I wash it with soap and water when I wash my hands and take it off to give it an.wxtra good wipe down before popping it on the charger or putting it back on!

I love it
I absolutely love my Oura Ring. It has been amazing for tracking my cycle, sleep, and overall health. The insights are super helpful and easy to understand, and it really helped me stay in tune with my body. Because of how accurately it tracked my cycle and ovulation, I was able to better plan and understand my timing, and thanks to it I am now pregnant. That alone makes it worth everything to me. It is comfortable to wear, looks great, and the data it provides is genuinely useful. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about their body and health.

Read this review if you are considering the Oura ring!
Let me start by saying I REALLY wanted to like this ring! I wouldn’t have spent so much money on it if I wasn’t all in! My first disappointment came from, just learning/realizing that the ring did not have the functionality that, I had understood it to have. Does it track your heart rate? Mmmmm… sort of. If you are hoping for it to track your heart rate while you are exercising, you are going to be sorely disappointed. It does heart rate readings every 10 to 30 minutes. No matter what you’re doing. That is one reading every 10 to 30 minutes… Which by the way you have no control of so it might be 10, it might be . So if you’re hoping to capture your peak heart rate while you are exercising, good luck. There is a function where you can record your workout and, I thought maybe that would be a workaround but no, all that really does is, record your path with GPS tracking to give you a visual of the route you took. And it’ll take a couple heart rate readings but, again, not at any meaningful regular interval while you are exercising. There is a manual function to check your heart rate which, has to be selected in the app and then it asks you to stay still for 30 seconds so that it can take your heart rate… And again, if you’re exercising, and you want your heart rate being tracked, you can’t stop everything and pull out your phone every few minutes to force it to take a reading. And, don’t forget, to also stop and be still so that it can take the reading.🤦♀️ Does it detect when you are stressed? One of the features this ring boasts is, tracking your stress. Supposedly, your body gives off particular signals when you are stressed and, the App puts a lot of focus on the amount of stress that you’ve had during your day. The problem is, it’s wildly inaccurate. It goes further to say that, eating, exercising, or doing things you enjoy can all give off those same signals as stress lol so, it’s not really a very useful metric for anything IMO. It will say I am stressed when I am eating, when I am exercising, but even when I am doing something relaxing and enjoyable like, in my garden interestingly enough, it has correctly detected a few times that I got particular news that sent my stress levels way up. It did pick those up. But, again, how useful is it if, it picks up so much of everything else as stress also 😆 I mean unless you are just a slug and lay around all day, it’s going to report that you had stress throughout the day 🤷♀️ And how about that subscription? Does the ring give basic metrics without the subscription? No. Big fat no. This is my biggest problem with this ring. I didn’t know if I felt like that the subscription would be valuable enough to me so I made sure before I purchased it that, if I didn’t want the extras of the subscription that the ring would still continue to track the most basic things like, step count. And, it reports that it does do that. HOWEVER, what they fail to mention is that, they don’t make that data available for you to see anywhere anymore lol and, it no longer updates Apple health or whatever other app you are integrating in with. So, it does NOTHING without the subscription. The only thing it will do is give you these silly readiness scores for your day. If it feels like you got a good nights sleep then it will give you a good readiness score for the day and a good sleep score. But you will see absolutely none of the data that went into building that score. No more steps, no more heart rate, no more anything. That’s IT. You can buy a ring for a fraction of the price that gives you all way more functionality, WITHOUT a Subscription. The way they make it sound before you purchase is that the subscription gives you a lot of extras. And I was willing to pay that if I felt like those extras were really valuable but because the data is so wildly inaccurate, I didn’t feel like it was particularly valuable what I thought I was getting as an “extra” From the subscription. Had I known it wouldn’t do the most basic thing to count steps without a subscription, and actually show them to me either in the app or by writing them to Apple health, I would have never purchased this ring. You’ve been warned! Good luck!

1 Month Post Purchase Review
Overall, I love it. I’m gonna break down my review as to why I love it and based on what you’re looking for in a smart ring to determine if this is a good fit for you. First, appearance. It doesn’t look masculine and is fairly scratch resistant. With any jewelry, you’re going to have a little scratching on the underside if you do anything with your hands. There’s plenty of protection options if that’s something you want to look into, but honestly I’ve had minimal scratching and it doesn’t bother me. It fit closer to my actual ring size, but you need to get sized to figure out your actual size. Oura offers a $10 you can order, but I personally just went to Best Buy and got my size off the display there. I believe Target also has sizers in the Oura display. But you do need to get fitted to know if the sensors are at an optimal location for best readings. Next category is App Quality. I really like the app and the reliability of the data it provides. I am not a super intense workout person, so it is perfect for my low impact workouts. I’ve heard people say it doesn’t provide accurate HR readings in higher intensity workouts, I see some improvement for that as you can have it track live HR data. I know a lot of people complain about the subscription and I just want to clarify that because I looked at that myself. The annual subscription is $69.99, monthly is $5.99. You can use the tracker without a subscription, however it gives you very basic data feedback. It tracks the basics, but does not give you pointers for improvement or how to better your scores. With the subscription, you’re not only paying for the insights, but you’re also paying for the access to Oura Advisor, the AI integration that can give even further insights to the data you have logged in app and the feature to simply take a photo of a meal for meal logging. Women’s Health: I personally like it. I have used Apple Health for many many years so it’s my primary for reliability in start dates, but I like the detailed data with Oura. I think with further use of the Oura I might 100% convert to it but for now I can’t decide which I like better. Given my current medical, this is a fantastic tool for me. Tags has been the best way for me to tie symptoms to more probable causes rather than wondering and guessing or assuming. I was most drawn to that feature, but you have to remember to add the tags for it to be most effective. If simple tracking without a bulky smartwatch is more what you’re looking for, this will definitely do that for you but cheaper alternatives can do the same if you’re looking to save some money. If you have more complex medical and want the data insights to your health and be more in tune with your body, you want the Oura ring with a subscription. The good news is that you can actually use an FSA / HSA for both the ring and the subscription. Mine gave me almost no trouble as far as documentation when I purchased them.

Excellent Support
I have had my Oura ring since August 2025 and it has provided great insight to my health and fitness. I love data and the ring provides plenty of it! In the last week, it has been losing battery life quickly and I've been experiencing connection problems. I contacted Oura and via their AI support, my issue was addressed immediately with a confirmation that they would ship me a new ring. Excellent support along with a great product!

Great data, once you're past the paywall. Battery degrades FAST, but warranty support is great
This has transformed how I view and evaluate my personal health. I love the form factor - I rarely notice its presence, and it lets me wear a regular watch instead of having to always sport around a smartwatch. Battery life was great when I first got it, but after less than a year it only lasts about a day and a half. I like the stealth finish, but BE WARNED: the DLC coating WILL scratch the life out of any glossy surface you use - including your phone screen. ESPECIALLY your phone screen. Wearing this and carrying a phone without a screen protector is a recipe for disaster. Setup was effortless, despite receiving a previously-paired (used) item. The factory reset was easy enough but I wish I had known ahead of time that I was receiving a used product. As I mentioned, the battery longevity leaves quite a bit to be desired. Brand new, I could easily get a week out of it. 10 months later? recharge notifications every other day. Fortunately, all I had to do was go to the AI chatbot on Oura's site, tell it my ring battery sucked, and it pulled the battery health from my account logs. It saw that the battery was draining fast and immediately asked for my address for the replacement. Didn't have to talk to a single person. So big kudos for that. Also, this WILL 100% guaranteed get scratched, no matter what finish you end up with. In reality, the first few scratches will bother you because it's your shiny new expensive health toy, but after a few weeks you stop caring. even scratched to the heavens and back, it doesn't look terrible. One other benefit to note - recently the news has had increasing reports of smart ring batteries swelling while the user is wearing it, getting it stuck on their finger. The Oura Ring does NOT seem to have that problem. All of the affected units used plastic or epoxy inner rings, allowing the battery to breach the ring. Both the inner and outer rings of the Oura Ring are titanium; there is a gasket fitting between the segments that allows the battery to vent in case of failure, but it should not be possible for the battery to exert enough pressure on the titanium inner ring to get it stuck on your finger in a catastrophic failure mode. Overall functionality: +4/5 Subscription: -1/5 Battery degradation: -3/5 Warranty Support: +3/5 Wont destroy my finger: +1/5

Phenomenal Sleep Tracking Tool
I got this Oura ring for my wife for Christmas this past year and she loves it as well as the rose gold color. It's a very good way to take control of your sleep and improve sleep quality. The ring tracks your sleep down to the minute, is crazy accurate, and works with an app that, once installed, works offline and connects to the ring through Bluetooth. Every morning you can get a full breakdown on the app of your sleep pattern for the night including sleep stages (light, REM, deep), heart rate, heart rate variability, body temperature, respiratory rate, total sleep vs time in bed, your sleep efficiency, your "body clock" and even "sleep debt" (which tracks how much sleep you're getting vs how much you need for your body type). It also tracks the menstrual cycle for women, which my wife uses and likes a lot. She's been able to figure out a pattern based on her heart rate that happens the day before her period actually starts, which works every time - super cool! Of course it does other things like tracks your steps, exercise, you can log your meals etc. Too many things for me to include in this review. The ring fits my wife's finger perfectly. Before you buy you have to purchase the ring sizing kit, which is cheap, and you can use it for friends if you refer people (which you can get awarded for monetarily). The sizing is pretty easy, wear one of the sizers for a day and make sure it's comfortable and then order your ring. I've also seen the ring sizing kits on display in places like Costco or Best Buy, so that's another option without having to buy the kit. The battery lasts about a week, which is pretty good. And it charges in less than an hour, sometimes half an hour if she's charging it more regularly than a week (which your supposed to do). My own Oura Ring 4 is over a year old and I have to charge it every 2-3 days. I admit, I did not follow their recommendations for maintaining the best battery life, so can't complain there. Overall, Oura Ring is fantastic and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. My wife and I have both been able to improve our overall sleep quality since using them. They are a very good tool for that if you want to prioritize sleep in relation to health (which anyone should).

So far cool....
I got this because I used to wear an Apple Watch and I absolutely hated it because I had to go in my watch pick which workouts I was doing my watch wouldn’t always connect with the phone and I bought the most expensive Apple Watch that you could possibly buy, which is ridiculous I stopped wearing it like four months ago because really I was only wearing it to look at the time it was pretty much useless to me. so I’ve been thinking about getting one of these for several months now I finally able to afford one. They’re very expensive and depending on what color you get is expensive I wanted the gold one however I’m not paying $500 for a ring that I don’t know if I’m going to like anyways so I’ve had it for 24 hours and so far I like it I actually started my monthly the day that I got this ring so that will be nice to track because my month leases are all over the place. This is second monthly I’ve gotten in April so that’s pretty inconvenient lol so that will be interesting to track my period on this. I will give an update with that because it’s very important to me. This is great if you’re trying to conceive, I would definitely recommend this if you’re trying to conceive and if you wanna know why do your own research. I don’t give medical advice so it’s it track my sleep pretty well I actually sleep better than what I thought I did or maybe that was just last night but it takes five days to actually get a reading a OUR a ring reading and how they do it so that’s nice that they take that time to track your sleep and give you a correct reading so it also let you know if you have sleep apnea it will let you know if you get sick before you get sick. It will let you know like you ate too much last night. Maybe that’s why you didn’t sleep good and it just does a lot of really cool things and you don’t have to program anything in the ring you slip it on Bluetooth connected and pay your $68 a year or your $5.98 a month which I feel was pretty inconvenient and a slap in the face by this company because I was told that there was no purchase for an app for this ring so just know you will have to pay for the app no matter what there is no getting around it. You do get 30 days for free to try it out and then after that you will be charged for it so just know that However, I did look up cheaper options and nothing compared to this so if you’re going to buy a ring, buy this one because this is going to give you everything that you need and you know that it’s going to be accurate. Also, they have Asurion insurance that goes with this however I am going to get progressive electronic insurance. You have 30 days after you buy it to get the progressive insurance. It’s better than assurance so progressive does cover stolen items so if you ever get the progressive insurance and you can’t find it. It was probably stolen :::wink wink::you get it? Lol to the_Surgery_Bestie to get a full review on IG for this ring. I will be doing a full on monthly review on this and know this is not sponsored. I paid for this. I got the silver one. It was $349 plus tax so it came out to $371 and some change so we will just say $372 apologies for the long review. I am talk texting and I really wanted to make sure I gave a good review also by the way I am 5 foot tall 170 pounds I thought I would be a size 7 on my non-dominant pointer finger and that was not the case. I am a size 9 on my nondominant pointer finger and I did measure my finger and it said that my pointer finger was 2 1/2 inches around which that seems rather big however that’s what I measure her so I hope that helps somebody with the sizing so you don’t have to order the sizing kit and I did order a cover to go on this. You can go on my Amazon page and see what cover I ordered because I will be giving a review on that as well because I don’t want it to get scratched up. It’s way too expensive to get scratched up.
