The UPerfect 16” 3K OLED has genuinely surprised me with how sharp and vibrant the screen looks, especially for something this portable. It’s been great for work, gaming and downtime, and the colors and contrast make everything feel more immersive. For the size, weight, and overall quality, it’s quickly become one of my favorite on‑the‑go monitors.

I purchased the portable monitor on October 13th and have used it for just over a month before an issue with the monitor screen appeared. I bought this to supplement my 27-inch Apple Studio Display. The 3K resolution was perfect for the Mac retina resolution as the 2880 x 1800 pixels are displayed as 900 x 1440 pixels with a 216 ppi vs. 218 ppi for the 27-inch Apple Studio Display. The display is sharp for both text and images. The color rendition was at par with my Studio Display when set to Display P3 color profile. Bonus is that you can have refresh rate as high as 120 Hz. The monitor is hooked up via a single USB-C cable to a Thunderbolt 4 dock USB-C socket (15W) for both data and power. I bought a separate VESA 75mm tabletop stand to mount the monitor and placed it next to the Studio Display. Set up looks better (and way cheaper) than buying a 32-inch 6K display (like ones from LG and of course, Apple). I mainly use the extended display for my Finder and for file navigation and management, with some widgets placed above the Finder. The first monitor I bought did have an issue with the screen having dark red large patches of pixelations at one corner. I contacted UPerfect directly since it was passed one month when I bought from Amazon. The customer service person responded very quickly and provided a UPS return postage to mail the monitor back. As soon as they received the defective monitor, a new one was sent via Amazon and received within 2 days. This new unit has been working fine with no issue with the screen, although I've only used this for a couple of weeks. Time will tell if I get the same issue or not. Overall I'm happy with the monitor (thin, light, retina resolution, easily powered by USB-C) and with customer service for quickly resolving the issue with the original unit. Highly recommended!

Overall a good monitor, I did run into some PD chip issues after initially using it. The stand works very well, it's quite small and easily carried in a backpack. I don't care for the miniHDMI input but I do understand why it's that way. Sound is functionally non-existent but it IS there. I think it's good performance and quality for the price. If it doesn't run into issues with power, then it's a pretty good choice.

Great monitor. Love the OLED screen - super bright and has very deep blacks. Great contrast and resolution. Love the fact that it's super compact and have no issues transporting this in my backpack. Setup takes about a minute. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

It should be made overwhelmingly clear to anyone considering this portable monitor: the built in speakers’ audio quality is terrible - & the monitor does not have an audio jack. Thus, depending on your use case, you may have to just be willing to live with the audio quality of a 1960’s radio. Truly, it is so bad that without any way to divert the audio to external speakers, the entire purpose of having invested in the nicer screen in the first place… is made to be pointless. If you are someone whose source device is not within Bluetooth range (or cable range) of where you’ll be using the monitor, this one is not the one, on god. But, even in close proximity, BT becomes disabled on say, an iPhone, when you plug it in so… I guess you also might be stuck with it then, too. I really can’t say for sure but what I CAN say that nobody who goes out of their way to find a portable monitor with an OLED screen is going to hear those speakers & think, “exactly as I imagined my OLED would sound! I am completely satisfied!!” I am a happy & proud mom to a Legion Go S, & I am telling you… the dollar tree quality of the built in speakers on the UPURFECT OLED 16” port screen, without an audio jack work around… is a deal breaker. It’s really a shame, too. Because for the most part, it’s been quite nice for the price. But, there’s silver lining in the juxtaposition: my leego is trying his little best, & his best is not as terrible as I thought.

Overview Being an OLED, this monitor looks amazing. Colors are vibrant and details are sharp, and its super-thin profile makes it highly portable. Surprisingly, it’s not offered at an outrageous price point. I am sharing some pictures of how it looks in general but do note I put a screen protector on the monitor. Only ones I found were anti glare which works really nicely but it does make it a bit grainy for some reason. Power Consumption - High Power Usage: Be aware that this display can consume up to 40 watts at the high end, though it can run on less (varies drastically on settings like brightness). Given it isn't 1080p or 60z, this increased power draw makes sense. - Good news is that the monitor has passthrough charging, meaning you don't have to go crazy with the amount of cables. One thunderbolt from your laptop to the monitor and one cable to the monitor with enough power for both to the monitor and the computer. Portability - To make this monitor work with your Laptop or Mini PC I'd recommend carrying around at minimum a 65w or higher power brick deepening on how much your other devices consume. - If you plan to use this monitor with a Switch and want stable performance, consider a proper dock like the original (which I've tested and only needed 10w with HDMI) or more portable ones like the Genki Dock or the ASUS ROG 65W Charger Dock (firmware updated). Final Thoughts Despite the some other reviews mentioning issues in the gray colors which is known to happen in some OLED panels, I did not experience these problems in my unit. Overall, if you need a portable monitor with excellent image quality and can handle a somewhat high power draw, this OLED option offers impressive value. It’s thin, vibrant, and more affordable than expected for an OLED display.

I have been using the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED Portable Monitor for a few weeks now, and it has completely transformed my mobile setup. The visual quality is stunning. The 2880x1800 resolution makes text and graphics incredibly sharp, but the real star is the OLED panel. The infinite contrast and deep, true blacks make games and movies pop in a way that traditional LCD screens simply cannot match. Colors are vibrant and accurate, which is also great for quick photo and video editing on the go.From a performance standpoint, this monitor is an absolute beast. The 120Hz refresh rate combined with the near-instantaneous 0.1ms response time makes gameplay feel incredibly smooth and responsive. There is zero noticeable ghosting or motion blur, even in fast-paced shooters or action games. It is also remarkably thin and lightweight, fitting easily into my laptop bag without adding bulk. The plug-and-play USB-C connectivity makes setting it up with my laptop, console, or phone completely seamless. If you want an elite, desktop-quality display experience that you can take anywhere, this monitor is worth every penny.

Summary: Pros -sharp display -wide color gamut -awesome OLED contrast -pass through charging through usb-c for connected devices -negligible latency Cons -HDR mode has color issues -one usb-c port needs to be used for charging on higher brightness The oled is very good and the contrast is impeccable. Black colors are genuinely black. Contrast and black levels are all calibrated out of the box. The 3k display is very sharp and you cannot see the pixels even up close. It has 2 usb-c ports for display and charging and a mini hdmi but one of the usb-c ports need to be connected to an outlet for charging since the screen will shut down if you show a really light image at high brightness. Speakers are not as good as a dedicated speaker but it is helpful in a pinch. This is a little too big for me to carry around portably but I use it as a second display on my desktop so I have no issues with the size. The stand is tablet-like and doubles as a cover for the screen. However, I switched to UPERFECT’s VESA mount adjust stand which is tall enough for me to place the display on top of my MacBook display. On my display, turning on HDR makes everything more reddish which is not exactly great. However, even in SDR the display supports a wide color gamut which looks as good as HDR in a lot of scenarios. The brightness of 500 nits is also helpful for making colors feel more vibrant compared to as low as 250 nits on other displays. The customer support was very helpful with issues I had with my screen and I would recommend this brand just for the customer service alone.

It’s connected to my MacBook Pro and placed right under my 34 inch 4k oled monitor. Great multi monitor and workstation setup. The colors are nice but you need to select the proper color profile that you need. Easy to setup and connect.
