Worth the very small amount per day!!!
I have never tried Ryse brand, as it is out of my budget. So I have nothing to compare this to. But this is a fantastic mushroom coffee. I have more energy, my digestion is so much better. I have had it before bed and somehow slept better than I have in a long time. It taste like coffee for the most part. I recommend you try!!!

Direct comparison
This product is top notch. Compared directly to ryze- it tastes better, mixes better, has the same ingredients and benefits, all pros for sure. It has more of that coffee type flavor and smell than the others. It mixes well with creamers and other protein powders. Overall 10/10 for product look, taste and smell. A con for me is the packaging. They are going for the dupe and I bet tons have ordered just because they thought it was in fact ryze because the packaging is almost identical. I almost did it myself once before. This is a negative for me because if you’re trying to have your own brand and be better then why not make it your own. Another con for me is that it is not certified organic where as ryze and a few others are. After drinking the coffee for a week or so I definitely feel the same health benefits like clarity, focus, calmer mood. Overall would definitely recommend to buy if you are looking for a good mushroom coffee option that is more affordable.

A Great Coffee Alternative with One Minor Catch
I’ve been hearing the buzz about mushroom coffee for months, and as someone who usually drinks two cups of black coffee a day and deals with the inevitable 3 PM crash, I finally decided to give it a try. After a two-week trial, here is my honest take. What I Loved The Energy Profile: This is the biggest selling point. Unlike regular coffee, which gives me a sharp spike and then a "jittery" feeling, this provided a very level, sustained focus. I didn't feel my heart racing, and I didn't experience the usual mid-afternoon slump. Digestive Comfort: I often struggle with the acidity of traditional beans. This blend was much gentler on my stomach. If you have a sensitive gut, this is a game-changer. The Flavor: I was terrified it would taste like "dirt" or "soup." It doesn’t. It has a very deep, earthy, and nutty profile. Once you add a splash of almond milk or cream, it’s almost indistinguishable from a high-quality dark roast. The Downside The Price Point: It is significantly more expensive than standard premium coffee. While the health benefits (Lion’s Mane for focus, Chaga for immunity) are great, it’s a steep investment for a daily habit. Texture: If you don't stir it well or use a frother, you might find a bit of "silt" at the bottom of the mug, which isn't the most pleasant finish. Final Verdict If you are looking to reduce your caffeine intake or eliminate coffee jitters without giving up your morning ritual, I highly recommend it. I’m docking one star only because of the price—it’s a bit of a luxury—but the cognitive benefits are definitely noticeable.

It's a no from me dog.
Looking for something like RYZE.... Yeah this isn't it. Intense coffee smells witch is nice but it has a bad aftertaste. It still made me jittery because the caffeine content is still higher than it would be if I got decaf 🤷🏽♀️. Overall, I wouldn't say it impressed me and I wouldn't buy it again.

Worth the buy.
I have bought several bags of this so I finally subscribed. It is the first one I tried & I’ll stick with it. It has a bit of honey in it I think so no sweetener is needed. It is also cheaper than some of the others. It also mixes well. I mix it with my regular coffee also.

Well, the brand name starts with “Bunk” but…
I’m still one the fence as to the purported benefits of ‘shrooms in this context. My wife and I own a LARGE dog (black lab/water buffalo mix) who gets these ginormous lipomas; Otter has had several surgeries in the past two years removing 5 and 2 pounds worth of these tumors all “benign” although pressure on his neck and chest and penetration into muscle planes was causing some issues. My wife found a mushroom blend for this problem and amazingly, after 6 months’ growth had us contemplating yet another surgery (at 11 he’s becoming a much higher risk veterinary patient), within weeks of starting the mushroom powder mix, those lipomas shrank to less than half the mass and have continued to shrink. There’s definitely something to be said and gained from mycology’s application to medicine. As far as humans go? I’m not certain yet. I’ve gone through a bag of this brand in about 10 days. First, I feel about as energetic as I would drinking several MORE cups of fresh-brewed coffee a day than my usual - I typically drink two in the morning, one in the afternoon - I drink this mushroom brew as my second cuppa in the morning and a few times midday. I’m not fooling myself, there IS caffeine in it, but there seems to be something more. I think my attention span, focus, analytical skills have improved a bit - while not Sherlock Holmes’ level, as a physician I do have a well-exercised talent for data analysis and differential diagnosis. A little sharper maybe, more organized? I’ll know more in another week or so. The product tastes okay… it reminds me of the once popular “International coffee” blends in a can which were primarily sugar, instant coffee and flavors (my wife says these are still available); this brand doesn’t have any added “sugar” (just MCT’s… actually a triglyceride, glycerin IS a “sugar” or at least a carbohydrate) and I find it’s palatable. Value for my money? I have been using a coffee ground measuring spoon I have compared to TWO one tablespoonful measures and so far, I have gotten EXACTLY 22 servings from the package using LEVEL tablespoon measures and 8 ounces of water. Looking into the bottom of the bag, my best guess is there is MAYBE one to one and a half servings left. That’s about 16.7% less than advertised, roughly one sixth less for the arithmetically-challenged. Based on this alone I would not order this brand again but I have others. As they say, YMMV. ************************************** Addendum… several weeks later. this took some time to figure out but, apparently mushroom coffee isn’t for everyone. Shortly after adding this (and then another brand) to my daily caffeine fix, I started having abdominal pain. Cramping pain not relieved by antacids, bowel movements, and without nausea or vomiting bleeding or other signs/symptoms of anything more severe. Rode it out for a week or so and, as I had run out of this product the pain stopped. I had ordered another brand which I started drinking (one cup a day, after a cup of my daily grind) and the pain returned. Little light bulb went on. maybe it’s the mushroom coffee? I stopped drinking this AND one other brand I’d ordered and all the pain stopped. So, several weeks later with Kombucha and Kefir and some dietary changes including NO MORE MUSHROOM COFFEE I’m fine now. Just an FYI.

Bunkell rivals RYZE
Bunkell is a great rival to Ryze! I've tried both. What I DON'T love aboe Ryze is the almsot forced subscription model they have which led me to find an alternative Bunkell. PACKAGING: Both brands have professional, secure and sanitary packaging! INGREDIENTS: Both brands feature a blend of Arabica coffee and functional mushrooms (such as Lion's Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Turkey Tail). AROMAS: Similiar aromas but the flavors are different! FLAVOR: Bunkell's formula includes MCT oil and coconut milk powder for added creaminess which I like. RYZE tends to have a more earthy. SERVING SIZE: Bunkell is 1 TSP and RYZE is 1 TBLSPN PRICE: Bunkell is half the price of RYZE depending on current retailer deals. CAFFEINE: Both have significantly lower caffeine than a standard cup of coffee - Bunkell has about 48mg per serving, and RYZE sits at around 45mg.
