Works great with Mepro 21 (on Tavor)
Just got this the other day, and I am very pleased with it.MOUNT -The mount is great. Once it is tightened down fully (Requires a coin, can't be done by hand) on your top rail it is rock solid. It has a little button on the front you press in to switch position from offset to inline. This button is easy to use and with a little practice it will become second nature to use it quickly and easily. The current mount does not sound like the one people described in some of the earlier reviews, so ignore the older mount reviews. The only downside to the mount is that the center part that doesn't move sits somewhat high when the magnifier is offset. It doesn't actually obscure your view of the Mepro or iron sights, but it is close enough and high enough to block your overall view a little bit. More an annoyance than an actual problem.MAGNIFIER -The magnifier is great for the price as well. It is clear and bright and with some quick elevation and windage adjustments it was easy to center it on the Mepro21 reticle without any height modifications required. Once properly centered the FOV and eye relief was pretty good, making it very easy to get a good sight picture while holding the firearm in a normal firing position. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase, and I don't see how any other magnifier could be $400 better (Talking about some of those $500+ magnifiers you see around the internet). The only real downside I see is the overall size. It is pretty big and blocks a lot of your view on the side of the firearm it is on. Fortunately if you are using a sight like the Mepro 21 in actual combat, which is the only place all this would really matter, you don't have to be down tight on the cheek rest so this shouldn't be a real problem.

Lot of Bang for your buck
Pros:-Good quality glass. Works well. I mounted it behind an Eotech 512, which has a blurry reticle/dot without wearing my contacts for astigmatism. This magnifier corrects that when looking through it.-Has windage and elevation adjustments to center the dot in the magnifier that are easy to use. Comes with lens covers also.-Nice mount that easily flips and locks into ready or standby position with one hand activation. No slop in the mount anywhere. Quickly mounts or removes with something as simple as a quarter.Con: only one. The eye relief, is, in my opinion, closer to about 2 inches. It has around 3, but 2 gives a clearer picture.A friend of mine has an expensive magnifier behind his, and this works just as well for a fraction of the price.Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality and the purchase.

Works well, mount is pretty bad though
I have this behind a real deal eotech xps2-0, the mount makes it ride a little high and you catch the top of the eotech frame in the magnification, the button to rotate it sometimes jams up and its kinda a pain to move. I was trying to configure it the way I wanted and ended up semi stripping two of the allen head bolts, go figure its made in China and comes in a black box that just says 3x magnifier lol. I bought another type of mount that was supposed to align with eotechs perfectly (I refuse to pay 550 for an eotech mag, and I will not raise my perfectly co witnessed with irons eotech to meet up with a mag) that one didn't align perfectly either but somehow you don't catch the frame in that one, plus it's spring loaded and flips out the way super fast. all in all considering I had to buy a better mount, it's not worth the price point, the mag itself is decent, but given that I can get a similiar setup where the mount is good too for the same or less, in hindsight I would have went that route.

Wow !!!
I have to review this in 2 parts as both the mount and the mag(magnifier) need it. The mount was a big surprise. I have purchased 2 other swing away or flip to the side mounts that were cheap from Amazon and both were not worth any amount of money as they both had noticeable play when locked into the "use it" position. I ended up purchasing the Vortex VMX3 mount. Now I needed a mag for it as you can not find the VMX3 mag anywhere. The mount cost me about 120.00 bucks and well worth the money as I highly recommend this mount if you can find it and afford it. Back to the TMS mount now. I had to get a mag with a narrow end to use with my VMX3 mount and found the TMS. It looked as if it would work with my Vortex mount and I was just going to pitch the mount that came with it anyways because all I was looking for was the magnifier. When I looked at the design of the TMS mount, I noticed that this mount was made very well. I dropped one of my Mako 5 power mags into it and put it on top of my VZ58's behind a Vortex strike fire red/green dot and I was amazed. The mount locked very tightly and was super rigid with no play what so ever, none... I wish they would sell this mount as a stand alone part as it would fly off the shelf, especially at that price. I very highly recommend this mount. Now on to the mag (magnifier). It is a straight forward 3x mag with super sharp optics. This thing is clear and sharp. You need to take the time to focus the eyepiece though. and it will be well worth the time as you will end up with a super sharp image with lots of light. I am a big fan of Vortex optics for the clarity and their customer service. This magnifier is as good if not a slight bit better in that department when I compare it to my VMX3 mag, Now I purchased this mag because of the shape of the end of the mag to work with the VMX3 mount that I already owned. I cannot find another VMX3 mag anywhere so I got this TMS to put on the VMX3 mount. I know, it sounds confusing. I just need to get across to everyone that this mag and mount is as good as the Vortex. I would use this setup for duty use. I am going to be putting them through their paces in the next couple of weeks at the range and at my shop. I will edit or add onto this review as to its durability. If it is anywhere near what I think it is capable of this will be my new set up for all of my Tactical firearms.I highly recommend the TMS Tactical 3x mag and mount combination.
