Glad I picked one up!
I've just edited a quick gallery for a customer. I've been diagnosed with ADHD and I'm fairly sure there is autism blowing around for me too. This has made the past 14+ years as a wedding photographer a bit of mental struggle when it comes to editing.Whilst I haven't managed to suss if I can use this to apply presets to images, I have to say the mental relief of not making tiny micro adjustments to sliders and being free to just turn a big dial that operates super smoothly, has been a huge and instant relief.I'd been really skeptical about this. The reviews dotted around can be really quite poor - Amazon even mention this is a frequently returned item. Maybe something is fixed. Maybe I'm lucky. So far it's done exactly what I needed and expected of it.Really impressed.

I really want to like this, but...
I bought this in October 2024 and have waited a long time before writing this review, partly because I think that the best reviews are those based on real-world use and partly because I have something of a love-hate relationship with this product and wanted to give it a fair chance. At the outset i think it is important to say that I mainly use this for photo editing in Lightroom and for basic functions is Word and Excel. People who use it with different applications may have different views. The two hardware components (Dialpad and Keypad) are a made of reasonable quality plastic and are heavy enough to stop them slipping around on a desk without the need for any mats. The Dialpad controls are well-placed and the control wheel sensitivity has presented me with no problems. It is a bit surprising that it is powered by AAA batteries but since I haven’t had to replace these up to now I can’t complain. This could, however, be an issue for somebody who uses it more heavily than me.The Keypad is connected to the computer by USB cable which again seems to be somewhat out-of-date and is a pain if you want to use it with more than one device. The provided cable is, however, quite long so there is a good degree of latitude when it comes to placing the Keypad conveniently. My major niggle is that the touch buttons do not always respond immediately when pressed. My main difficulties come with the fact that the devices only work in conjunction with the LogiOptions+ software which is not the most intuitive or best-designed in the world. The good side is that there are ready-made profiles for many of the most popular editing software applications (especially Adobe products). The less good is that it can be time-consuming or even impossible to customise these to suit your individual workflow. I’ve found the Logitech online help to be pretty poor when it comes to finding possible solutions to questions that go beyond the most obvious questions.I have found too many little niggles to go into here. But I would strongly recommend that, if you do want to customise the setup to your liking you prepare yourself for a lot of trial-and -error and make good use of your favourite AI chatbot. So, has it made a difference to me. Yes in that, now I have got everything set up as best as I can, my photoediting process is much smoother and far less reliant on using my mouse, trackpad or keyboard shortcuts. It hasn’t, hoewever, replaced all of these due partly to the software limitations and also because of it is difficult to overcome years of muscle memoryI may be being harsh or unrealistic in my expectations and others will no doubt think it is the beast thing ever. But I would be wary of the many influencer claims that it will change your life for ever. Do is use it? Yes, pretty much evert day. Could I live without it? Yes.

It's good value for money, if you use it enough
The Logitech MX Creative Console is a great device. I mostly use it for editing in Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve. In Lightroom it makes me work faster and easier, but in DaVinci it does not help all that much. Maybe because they have to integrate the device into the program a little bit better. The 9 buttons are easy to customize and the software is intuitive. It's lightweight, so you can bring it with you wherever you go. Long story short if you use creative apps on your PC or laptop it's a great value for money and can save you a lot of time and hassle.

Extremely Disappointing – Very Limited Outside Adobe
I really wanted to like the Logitech MX Creative Console. I have owned and enjoyed numerous Logitech products over the years, which unfortunately made this purchase even more disappointing.Firstly, the build quality simply does not match the price. It feels surprisingly flimsy for what is supposed to be a premium productivity device, and there is no haptic feedback either. At this price point, I expected considerably more.My biggest disappointment, however, was the functionality. One of the main reasons I purchased it was for use with DaVinci Resolve and particularly colour grading. During a conversation with Logitech support, I was specifically told that there was an official DaVinci Resolve plugin with colour-grading controls via Color Wheels. However, I could not get the functionality I was looking for to work. I spent a considerable amount of time researching it and even used AI to help investigate whether the mentioned functionality could be configured.Ultimately, I discovered that the functionality was nowhere near what I had expected. Even Logitech support subsequently explained that the behaviour I wanted – being able to hover over a colour control and use the dial to adjust it – was not supported by the Resolve plugin.I asked Logitech whether this functionality was potentially being developed, but unfortunately I never received the promised follow-up and my support case was eventually closed automatically. That was particularly disappointing considering my previous positive experiences with Logitech as a brand. The Creative Console makes considerably more sense if you are heavily invested in Adobe applications, where the integrations appear to be its strongest selling point. Outside of that ecosystem, however, I found it far too restrictive for my needs.I ultimately moved to a TourBox Elite and personally find it considerably more useful and flexible. If you use software outside Adobe and want extensive control and customisation, I would strongly recommend looking at alternatives such as the TourBox Elite or Stream Deck + before purchasing this. For me, the MX Creative Console simply doesn’t justify its price. Between the disappointing build quality, lack of haptic feedback, restrictive functionality and my experience with support, I unfortunately cannot recommend it.A rare disappointment from a brand I normally really like.

Good quality product but prices
Good quality product. A bit expensive should be cheaper as its made from plastic. Should have been made from metal to give a premium feel.

highly recomended for use with Premiere
Had to eventually bin my Loupedeck and bought this, I think I like it more than the loupedeck, I use it along with a contour shuttle , perfect video editing setup for Premiers

Good build quality but not for me
Didn’t really work for me. Build quality and operating system fine. But fit into my workflow

Useful for creative editing applications
I've read many reviews and seen people savagely criticising this; I have no idea why.Yes, they are plastic, but they are well-made and work well. The Options+ software supports them like the other, more modern versions of Logitech's devices. I'd love more out-of-the-box support for apps (hence the lost star), but it supports office and creative apps (Lightroom in my case) pretty well.Is it as universal as my Stream Decks? No. Does it fulfil needs that the Stream Decks can't? Yes, the dial and roller are very useful indeed.

Logitech MX Creative Console - not develop well
I received it today and tried to install it, but unfortunately, the application switches to the web browser, and I wait forever. I can't install it and use it properly. I found a lot of people on the forums with similar problems. Well, I'll try it on a different computer, maybe sometime. I logged into the Logitech website and asked for help using the chat, and they suggested I return the product – lol. Apparently, they don't care.

Consigliatissima! 🎨💡
