I'm giving this monitor a 5 star considering the price of it. Given that it is 4K monitor and not 5K there exists a very minor disturbance in the sharpness of the image but only visible to a very trained eye. If you don't want that pay 2x price. Otherwise, the colors are vidid. One interesting observation is that after enabling HDR, I didn't get good results for regular text. It should only be enabled for movies. In terms of packaging, it is supper easy to assemble and works with my MacBook without any problems. I saw other reports indicating problems. I haven't experienced one myself. The sound is good but nothing out of ordinary.My only negative comment it that I wish it had its own camera and microphone. That is inconvenient compared to 27" LG Ultra series.

I am very satisfied with this unit. I use the monitor mostly for reading news and writing code. So this may not be the case for everyone. But for me, a couple of things stand out about this unit: it is very "smooth" and it is cost-effective."Smooth" just says it is well rounded. I have had a lot different pricy monitors, including those from Apple, Dell and LG. They do look sharper, crisper but this unit is smooth. In that I mean it is not so contrasting as "full of it" just enough that you can see everything clearly and still focus on what you need this monitor.I know this is very subjective. But when it feels right it is not always easy to quantify. The good news is -- it is relatively inexpensive enough, for a monitor of this size and quality, for you to give it try too. Highly recommended.

Sets up quickly to a Mac Mini, looks good, sharp image. I wish it had a camera and microphone, but it didn't claim to.

This monitor has been phenomenal for me personally. Display pilot 2 is functional as if Apple designed it. The brightness and clarity is honestly the best out of any I’ve tried in the past. The color accuracy is also surprisingly close to MacBook’s Retina display, and you can change the color profiles to match your specific machine. Works perfectly with both my MacBook Air and Mac Mini. I get that people might be worried about the 60hz but as long as you’re not into gaming, you will not notice at all. Tremendous value for $

This was a mixed review - hence 3 stars. The monitor's display looks fantastic in terms of colour rendition, vibrancy and consistency to my previous 27 inch iMac display. The matte finish is also great for a brightly-lit room and minimises reflections. Using the Display Pilot 2 app in conjunction with the display just enhances the experience and provides a lot of configuration options. This consistency was what swayed my decision to go for this monitor to begin with.Unfortunately the monitor arrived with a damaged display - shown by the 2 inch or so band on the right-hand side, and I am currently going through the returns process for this unit with Amazon. I have purchased the same unit again in the hope that the replacement is undamaged.Follow-up Edit 01-Dec-2025 - It deserves and gets 5 stars. After re-ordering a replacement monitor, the replacement arrived as scheduled. In two words: Fantastic result. No issues with this monitor after a week of use, and I'm very happy in terms of its display quality and consistency.

I spent 3 months researching what monitor to buy for my Mac mini. I was too worried about purchasing a 4K monitor and not being sharp enough for my taste. With this monitor, I got it all right: MacOS integration, good colours, good brightness. 4K is sharp enough in MacOS; I'm thrilled about buying this one.

Je ne l’ai que depuis quelques jours, mais la qualité de l’image, la profondeur des couleurs ainsi que son design me convient parfaitement ! De pouvoir brancher directement mon MacBook Pro M2 ainsi que mon iPad Air et vraiment génial ! Mon seul petit bémol, est la résolution du texte qui est plus base que mon ancien écran de 4K 27 pouces, mais tolérable ! Je le recommande !

Very Happy, Fast Delivery

After 3 months, vertical lines appeared in the monitor. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you rely on a professional monitor. I chose this to replace an iMac that lasted 10 years and what a mistake - the quality is garbage. Customer service is non existent. I am still waiting for the monitor to be replaced and 2 months after the initial service request I've just received a third email stalling time, asking for me to confirm my address!
