MattelDisney Collector Ariel The Little Mermaid Doll with Display Stand, Inspired by Disney Movie 35th Anniversary

This Ariel doll is so beautifully done from head to toe. The quality of the dress and details pieces of the water dripping as if she is coming out of the water ! Omg! She’s so pretty I didn’t wanted It to get her out of the box because of how pretty she is. Something else is very appreciated is that she comes with her own stand.

She is so pretty! I didn't want to take it out of the box. So I added a little frame from another Disney doll I received. :) Love it!

Love this doll! She is absolutely stunning and a must have for collectors. If you feel so inclined, you are also definitely able to gift this doll to a child for play as well.The dress is very sparkly, and resembles the scene in the movie well, (though is not as movie accurate as the extra dress that came with the Disney Store set that had Ariel, Triton, and Ursula) this is a more elevated take on it. The material is also very nice quality and does not snag very easily...which I was worried about when looking at the pictures. The accessories are very fun, I love the "shoes" and the arm piece being water wrapping around her as they provide extra glamour, without really deviating from the original content. I did take off the "wave" around her neck though as I don't think it adds anything to the doll and made the hair sit weird.There are a couple of negatives with this doll to address, however. The hair being first and foremost, the hair on the doll I received doesn't really have the curls that are shown in the description pictures. It is very gelled, but I think the curl just didn't hold. This is easy to fix though. The other negative is the doll base type...the arms articulate, but the legs don't, so she is not really posable outside of the original position (the stand is really great for this too).the $50 price point is very reasonable for a collector's doll, and I think the quality of the doll meets those standards as well. Definitely recommended!

She‘s stunning. The box is perfect for displaying her without having to unbox her. I especially love the dress! Would definitely recommend buying her :)

Gorgeous doll, packaging came damaged

Es preciosa tiene una cara bellísima y el vestido es una maravilla,tan icónico de la película.Lo único que debo decir negativamente es que llegó la caja con micro arañazos y por 70€ mattel debería cuidar eso porque yo no sacaré la muñeca.

People have been asking for an Ariel doll based on this dress for a LONG while, and it’s finally here!This doll is absolutely beautiful- the new Mattel Ariel mold looks like the animated movie, and the dress is high quality, as are the water splash elements. The water accessories are removable, if you want to have her be more accurate to the film, but I feel they are a great addition to make the doll look more luxurious.The doll herself has no pixellation, and articulation similar to the Disney store dolls. There’s movement at the head, shoulders, elbows and wrists along with the hip. Notably no knee articulation, which I really would have loved, but for a collector level doll that is fine. If you were to give her to a child, she would be durable enough.This doll is absolutely stunning, and I’m glad to have her in my collection. I’m hoping this leads to other lesser-used princess outfits in collector form!
