M1X Smart LED Portable Projector with Harman Kardon Speakers​​

We bought this as a replacement after my child broke our other one. We loved the first one and this one is even more clear! We use this regularly when we camp and it’s perfect for travel!

I was choosing between el-cheapo Chinese projectors and cheap brand ones. Reviews for the formers were not that good: glitches, heating, etc. People said that picture quality was so-so even with higher claimed resolutions than of low-end brand ones. This projector is super portable, very convenient, has a lot of features, great sound. Does not overheat. Resolution is low as it's claimed, there is just no miracle. I thought between 4/5 (because of the price) and 5/5 stars. Decided to put 5. Unfortunately I have to know how pricey are decent electronic components nowadays so the price might be reasonable though not comfortable. Viewsonic has also a FullHD projector which is even cheaper, I think it should have way better picture and brightness and maybe I should have bought it. But it is heavy and bulky (3kg) and that was no-go for my small apartment..

Easy to bring indoors to outdoors with a long battery life. Connecting Roku and AppleTV was simple.

Amazing piece of kit

Seems OK in terms of build and picture but the lack of auto screen setup and a proper operating system just makes it horrible to use. I sent it back in the end and got a Nebula which has been great. There was no way I would have been able to give this to the children and them be able to get a square picture on the wall and play something on Netflix. You just need an app system otherwise you're messing around with external powered smart sticks, the additional cables and phone apps. Just get a nebula or samsung which has this all built in.
