The sable is gathered only the winter, in one of the coldest climates on earth, producing the longest, densest and most luxurious hair. By design, the hair is seated deeper into the ferrule with less of its curve exposed, maximizing spring, snap and control. Length and diameter of the "Albata" handle is customized for different tuft weights - every brush, regardless of size, balances perfectly.
