Good quality
Only just started taking them. They are big but that isn't a problem. The issue for me personally is that they are very hard rather than a soft gel capsule.

Brain, Body, and Heart Booster in a Capsule!
I’ve tried a fair few omega-3 supplements over the years, but these ones are definitely a cut above. The "super potency" claim isn’t just marketing fluff — you can tell it’s the real deal. No fishy burps (thankfully), and I feel a bit sharper and more alert since I started taking them. Could be the placebo effect, but I’m not complaining! The capsules are easy to swallow — none of that horse-pill struggle you get with some supplements. Plus, it’s good to know you’re getting a proper dose of EPA and DHA, which I’ve read are the most important bits for brain health and heart support. I’m at that age where looking after the old ticker and keeping my memory sharp feels more essential than ever (especially with a baby in the house — sleep deprivation is no joke).Pros:No fishy burps or aftertaste (hallelujah!)High strength EPA & DHA — great for brain, heart, and jointsEasy-to-swallow capsules — no choking hazards hereNoticeable boost in energy and mental sharpnessCons:You only get 60 capsules, so if you're taking daily, you’ll be reordering fairly soonIf you’re looking for a high-potency omega-3 supplement that doesn’t taste like low tide, this one’s a winner. It’s great for brain fog, heart health, and keeping joints feeling less creaky. Simple, effective, and no fishy aftershocks. Perfect!

Pretty Good
The Higher Nature Super Potency Omega 3 Fish Oil Supplement is an impressive addition to any wellness routine. With its high-strength formula, it delivers a significant amount of EPA and DHA, two essential fatty acids known for their wide range of health benefits. The product contains 60 capsules, which are conveniently sized and easy to swallow, making it a practical choice for daily supplementation. One standout feature of this supplement is its purity and potency. The capsules are crafted to provide high-quality fish oil without a fishy aftertaste, which is often a concern with omega-3 products. This makes it more appealing for those who may have been hesitant to incorporate fish oil into their diet. The benefits of this supplement are evident, particularly for supporting cardiovascular health, cognitive function, and overall well-being. It’s also reassuring to know that Higher Nature prioritises quality and sustainability in their products, ensuring that you’re not only benefiting your body but also making an eco-conscious choice. While the product is exceptional, the inclusion of only 60 capsules might be limiting for some, as it provides just a one-month supply if taken at the recommended dosage. A larger pack size could enhance its value for regular users. Overall, this is a premium omega-3 supplement that delivers on its promises, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to boost their health.

Good capsules
I've been advised to take fish oil supplements to get the most benefit from my mediterranean keto diet; and I've been using Higher Nature multivitamins for some years, so when I had the opportunity to order their fish oil capsules I leapt at the chance. These are easy-to-swallow soft gel capsules. They don't smell (or taste) fishy (thank goodness), and they aren't too large. In terms of dose, WHO (the World Health Organisation) suggest that adults should take 250-500mg of combined EPA and DHA at a minimum. So these, at 750 mg per capsule, are a good strength. and can be adapted to need. It's up to individuals to seek professional advice on what dose is suitable for them. For example, the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) recommend 3,000mg per day for normal blood pressure (EFSA Journal 2011;9(4):2078), which is what I'm personally interested in. At a 3,000 mg dose (considerably more than the bottle label recommends), this bottle is only 15 doses. However, I only need to supplement on the days when I don't have sufficient oily fish, so I would only be taking them about 3 days per week. At that rate, the bottle will last a month, and seems reasonable value.Overall I'm pleased with these capsules, and think it's likely I will buy again. Recommended!

'Zero CO2' fish oils with BOVINE capsules
What you see in their photos is what you get. Okay, first thing, what the heck is the 'zero CO2 philosophies' ? It is right there on the front of their label. Couldn't find an explanation in the product listing. What is the point of putting something the label with no explanation? Makes me wonder what else is BS. This is fish oil. Expiry May 2027. Comes with a foil seal under the lid. Higher Nature is an old brand (incorporated 1993), whowever they have a totally different look to what I remember a decade ago, much nicer, so I checked .gov.uk and can see they were taken over in 2022, I remember they were one of those companies who sent out a subscription catalogue, but given the gazillions of new supplement suppliers now, coming from USA, China, India, clearly times have been tough. Anyway, I had a skoot around their website, all very promising, especially 'Our Standards'. Couldn't find a 'customer reviews' page on their website though, so I checked on Trustpilot, and there are lots of reviews there. I have to do all these checks before I take a supplement, after all, how the heck do I know what is in that capsule! I see the capsule is bovine. that has put me off, because, if the supplement is so fabulous, why didn't they use choose a vegetarian capsule? The use of bovine also clashes with their 'zero CO2' claim (cows and methane!!) Price at the time of this review was £22
