I have to say this product works awesome. I like the taste as well. Last week, I went to Colorado for a few days for the Great American Brewfest and took the electrolytes with me. Being that I like craft beers and hate hangovers, I figure this product would do the trick. Yes, it worked to keep me hydrated with 3 of the main ingredients: sea salt, magnesium and potassium. After sampling about 50 or so beers (who's counting), I made sure to drink the 16oz. of water with the electrolytes. The next day, no hangover! In fact, I felt good the next day and had a little more to make sure I stayed hydrated. Drinking plain water is not nearly enough when you drink, and I hate taking ibuprofen - it's bad enough I gave my liver a workout at the brewfest then Oktoberfest for the next two days with no hangover and was still able to do some pedalflow. As for fasting, this helps keep my energy up and no mineral depletion. Other than a beer connoisseur, I'm an avid gym rat and bike rider. I do lot of exercise while fasting and need electrolytes without breaking my fast especially when you sweat out all your minerals. Gatorade is crap and has sugar. I like that this product has no sugar or calories. I feel no need to try or buy anything else. Five stars from me! Totally satisfied!

This is our first time ordering this Orange Fizz Electrolyte Powder and we recommend trying it. It's so much more effective than other hydration drinks we've tried. It's sugar free, has zero calories per serving, and the quality of the ingredients make it something that fits our dietary and health goals. We have noticed positive results when using this supplement at various times for various reasons - first thing in the morning, before and after working out, after partying, and after being dehydrated in a warm climate. Increased focus and endurance are noticeable almost immediately after drinking the fizz. We like the flavor, light orange and a little fizzy. It does have a bit of a supplement-type flavor, but we associate the taste with feeling good so that makes it easy to drink. The powder dissolves easily when mixed. We mix 1 scoop with 8 ounces of cold filtered water and drink it immediately. We give this product FIVE STARS and will definitely re-order it from Amazon. I have just finished my first order of this product. 1) The powder tastes great and mixes very easily. It has a very refreshing taste and does not have that super sugary taste. If you take a while to drink it the powder will sometimes separate from the solution and collect at the bottom. 2) It is very effective at quick pre workout hydration and it will help you squeeze out some extra effort because muscle strength and endurance are related to hydration. Using it intraworkout is great. The electrolyte amount is better than the common sports drinks on the market and it does not have the high sugar content those drinks do. 3) Also to be honest it also works as an amazing hangover prevention haha. After nights of shenanigans i woke up feeling great if I drank it right before bed. Great product for the price

While I'm active and fit, I am 75 years old. Older people tend to have a hard time absorbing nutrients and often run low on electrolytes. In my case, potassium and sodium chloride often get too low. That effects your blood pressure and can cause tachycardia of all sorts. This stuff is great! I wish I had not ordered the orange. It's a bit more acid than I like. But that's my fault. It is not too sweet but sweet enough. I bought it because of the ingredients and the amount of each electrolyte. Many electrolyte drinks have just a dab of electrolytes in them and a ton of sugar. No so with this product. It has very generous portions. Right now I'm using one-half a scoop to my cold water and drinking it twice a day. Since I'm not drinking for sports recovery as many are, I don't feel I need quite as much. I've been drinking coconut water. About 8 ounces per day. But that gets expensive. It is a very good drink for electrolytes but just too costly. This has about the same amount of electrolytes in it as an 8 ounce glass of coconut water and I simply can not drink a full 8 ounces. So with this, I get the amount I feel I need. Getting these electrolytes gives me far more energy and helps with my SVT (a form of tachyardia) so I'll likely keep right on buying it. But next time I will opt for another flavor. I highly recommend this to my fellow seniors and for sure to athletes and anyone who wants to make sure they have enough electrolytes. Far more people run low on electrolytes than realize it until they have a blood test.

I didn't even know hydration was an issue until I saw a CBS report that said 75% of Americans are in fact dehydrated. I didn't balk at this and started to look more into issues with dehydration and sure enough, I met the criteria for a lot of the symptoms. Low energy, constant on & off brain fog, muscle weakness (seriously an issue when wanting to workout) all had been issues in my life that I never really thought much of. I don't eat the best diet and I work a lot so I kind of just chalked it up to those factors but when I learned more about dehydration I wanted to fix it. I saw an advertisement for this product shortly after and I figured you know what, might as well give it a shot. Who knows, it might just be genius after all. Well let me tell you my friends, you will not be disappointed. For starters, it's delicious. I took a video that I've uploaded where you can see it actually fizzes in the water which I thought was super cool. For a sugar free beverage, actually for a matter of fact, for any kind of beverage, this is bomb! Taste is a bonus for sure but I'm sure everyone is like me and wants to know more so about how it actually works. Well let me tell you, it has changed my life. I really must have been in the 75% experiencing issues from chronic dehydration because I feel like an entirely new person. I have more energy, the fog is gone and I've even been working out better for the probably the first time since high school if I'm being completely honest with myself. I've been going through 2 scoops per day. That doesn't last me that long but the nice thing here is that the price really isn't all that bad. If you're experiencing any sort of issues, I'd advise checking this stuff out. I think it's probably worth the investment.

I apologize for the long review but If you really want to know how this product has helped me and could help you then please read below. I am a new customer to The Genius Brand but have been wanting to try their products for quite some time now. After trying this product as well as a couple others I now see what all the hype is about! The transparency, the trademarked ingredients, and just the overall quality really makes a difference. A little bit about me: I am a former NCAA college basketball player and I also have a degree in Exercise Science. I have lifted weights and trained basically my whole life and that hasn't stopped since I have been done playing competitively. I still workout 4 times a week and try my best to eat healthy and stay in shape. About the product: Electrolytes are EXTREMELY key in order for proper hydration. Many people have no idea how important it is to be hydrated. The ingredients in the product are top notch you have all your usual suspects (Magnesium, potassium, zinc, etc) But where this product really sets itself apart is in the trademarked ingredient Sustamine. I did a little research on this ingredient before purchasing and WOW this stuff is legit. The improved endurance and hydration that this ingredient provides is very noticeable. I find myself going harder during my cardio days and Im running a lot longer distances than I did with just simply water or gatorade. (don't even get me started on gatorade, packed with sugar, never again) Overall, this product is the best electrolyte/hydration product on the market! Why? Because they go above and beyond with the trademarked ingredients (Sustamine) as well as properly dose all other ingredients. If you are reading this review you know how important electrolytes are and I don't need to tell you that but if you are looking for the best this is it. I have done my research and this seems to be the best out there.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change the flavor! I'm not one to be too picky about flavors but the Orange Fizz makes it unbearable to drink - it's sickeningly sweet and it doesn't taste like orange at all. I've tried adding it to flavored sparkling water, still water, juice, and using a squirt of Crystal Light and NOTHING helps! Less sweetener and a lighter flavor would be wonderful since the bones of the product are good. Unfortunately it's difficult to use the product because I literally have to pinch my nose and try not to gag while I chug it, and I can still taste it for awhile afterwards. *To those who say it tastes like Tang - y'all have NEVER had actual Tang or you would NOT compare the two!* For the record, I mix it with a 1/4 tablespoon of @BulkSupplements Mag Glycinate powder to up my magnesium intake. What would make this product 5 stars: - A different flavor / less sweetener - More product for the price - More magnesium & potassium - Using more available forms of magnesium (like a methylated version for those with MTHFR mutations) I bought this product because I practice intermittent and short term fasting (which has helped with my autoimmune issues, digestive issues, and I've lost over 20 pounds and kept it off) and I really like the Snake Juice "diet" but the DIY electrolyte solution can sometimes be hard to use constantly due to the saltiness and lack of flavor. I was looking for a decent amount of electrolytes (preferably in methylated form for better absorption) and a light flavor with no artificial sweeteners (sucralose or aspartame).

My daughter being a Varsity cheerleader ended up in the hospital with heat exhaustion and was severely dehydrated with the Georgia heat. Her doctor recommended an electrolyte replacement and after speaking with my boss, we decided to try the Genius brand since she gives it to her kids. Once it arrived, I decided to try it myself since the heat had been unbearable and I'd had a headache for days. I drank it before bed and felt so much better the next day. My daughter uses it before practice and on game days and has done so well that we'll continue to use the product. I like the taste and it's super easy to mix with water. There is no sediment on the bottom after shaking it up and it doesn't have an aftertaste either. I look for the quality of the product over cost but this product isn't too expensive and works well. We'll definitely use this again and I look to try other products within the brand.
