Fast, Reliable and Great Value SSD Upgrade
The Crucial P310 1TB NVMe SSD is excellent. Installation was quick and simple, fitting perfectly into my M.2 slot with no issues. The PCIe Gen4 performance is impressive โ the drive feels noticeably snappy when booting up the system, launching apps, or transferring large files. The 1TB capacity is generous and ideal for games, software, and everyday use, and the speeds really help keep everything responsive. Itโs also run very quietly and stays cool under load. Overall, a highโperformance, dependable SSD that offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommended for anyone upgrading their storage or building a fast PC.

Fast and good
Crucial P310 1TB SSD Review: A Gen4 Gem That Delivers If you're looking for a high-performance NVMe drive that doesn't break the bank, the Crucial P310 1TB SSD is a standout choice. Built on the PCIe Gen4 interface and housed in the compact M.2 2280 form factor, this drive strikes an impressive balance between speed, efficiency, and value. ๐ Blazing Fast Performance The P310 leverages Gen4 bandwidth to deliver sequential read speeds up to 7200MB/s and write speeds up to 4200MB/s (depending on system configuration). Whether you're booting your OS, launching demanding games, or transferring large files, this SSD keeps pace with premium competitorsโwithout the premium price tag. ๐ง Cool and Efficient Thanks to its DRAM-less architecture and optimized controller, the P310 runs cool even under sustained loads. It's ideal for compact builds or laptops where thermal management is key. Power consumption is also impressively low, making it a smart choice for energy-conscious users. ๐ Reliable and Durable Crucial backs the P310 with a 5-year limited warranty and solid endurance ratings. With 600TBW (terabytes written), it's built to handle years of heavy use. The drive also supports modern features like Host Memory Buffer (HMB), TRIM, and SMART monitoring for long-term reliability. ๐ฐ Exceptional Value In a crowded Gen4 market, the P310 punches above its weight. It offers near-flagship speeds at a mid-range price, making it perfect for gamers, creators, and professionals who demand performance without overspending. Whether you're upgrading a gaming rig, building a sleek workstation, or simply want faster load times, the Crucial P310 is a confident, future-proof investment. It's not just fastโit's smart, efficient, and built to last.

Perfect for gaming/secondary laptop drive
Great price considering the times weโre in, speed is perfect for my use case as a secondary drive in my Razer Blade laptop to hold big games. Storage capacity is perfect for a steam library and keeps my main drive free for everything else.

Okay
So far itโs running fine but just know itโs a QLC SSD so it wonโt last as long as a TLC SSD but right now there are no problems. My PC boots up in a couple of seconds. It fit very nicely in my motherboard too. Doesnโt get loud at all either. Itโs an average ssd, with the durability being average too. The storage capacity is what you picked. (In my case 1TB) overall I would say itโs a value for money.

Good value for a 2TB drive. Works well with no issues.
Used this drive as an internal drive in a base for a Mac Mini computer. I use it for the Mac Time Machine backup and it works well. No issues with speed, heat or anything else.

Expanding your PS5 storage so a lot more games can stay installed and playable
I've had my PS5 since early 2021 but never got around to expanding the available NVME storage. I've had an external HDD connected to which I can copy PS5 games (and from which PS4 games can be installed and played) , to save long waits for downloading them as my internet speed is not great, but this is my first expansion that increases how many PS5 games I can have installed in a playable state. Install was fairly simple. Just pop the side cover of the ps5 off, unscrew the SSD cover and unscrew the screw used to connect your NVME SSD. Then take the ssd, attach a heat sink to it (sometimes included , in this case sold separately) and then plug it in and screw it down and cover it. Once the PS5 is plugged back in and turned on then the first thing it asks is to format the drive. Once this is done the drive is ready to go. I'm now copying all of my ps5 out of external storage onto it ( a lengthy process given external drive speeds) and then it will all be done. This drive itself is great, affordable and with a speed which is faster than the PS5 internal drive so more than good enough.

Blazing Fast Storage That Transforms Load Times โ A Gamerโs Dream SSD
I upgraded my gaming rig with the Crucial P310 4TB SSD, and the difference is night and day. The PCIe Gen4 speeds are insaneโI'm hitting sequential read/write speeds close to 7,100MB/s in benchmarks, which translates to near-instant game loads and buttery-smooth texture streaming in open-world titles. My boot time went from 30 seconds to under 10, and massive games like *Cyberpunk 2077* now stutter less thanks to the consistent throughput. The 4TB capacity is a luxury I didnโt know I needed. I've loaded it with my entire Steam library and still have room to spare. Unlike my old SATA SSD, this NVMe drive stays cool under heavy use, thanks to the efficient controller and lack of moving parts. Installation was plug-and-play in my M.2 slot (works flawlessly in both my desktop and a compatible laptop), and Crucialโs software made cloning my old drive a breeze. The only minor downside is the lack of a heatsink, but my motherboardโs built-in shield handles thermals fine. For the price per gigabyte, this is one of the best Gen4 NVMe deals out thereโreliable, screaming fast, and backed by Crucialโs solid reputation. If you're tired of storage bottlenecks, this SSD is a no-brainer upgrade! **Pro tip:** Enable Resizable BAR in your BIOS for extra gaming performance. Say goodbye to loading screens!

Great performance upgrade for your NAS
I bought a couple of these to add additional SSD capacity to my UGREEN NAS drive. They've been transformative. I've moved all my Docker containers onto these drives and now my NAS is completely silent (except for when it's backing stuff up to the HDDs, which I schedule overnight). The added bonus is all my containers are super-responsive now they're running on the Crucial drives. You can go down a bit of a rabbit hole comparing speeds and failure rates between drives but unless that stuff is ultra mission critical to you, just get this one. I doubt you'll be disappointed. They've been in for several months now and have performed flawlessly.

Great SSD
Great SSD. I know prices aren't great right now, and I bought this before those prices, but it's been great in my external SSD bay.

Great Upgrade for My ProBook
I installed this Crucial P310 1TB SSD in my HP ProBook as an upgrade, and I am very happy with it. The install was straightforward, the drive was recognized without any drama, and it gave the laptop a noticeable improvement. The extra storage alone was worth it, but the speed is the real benefit. Boot times, file transfers, loading programs, and general responsiveness all feel better. It made the ProBook feel much less limited and a lot more useful for everyday work, school, and general computer use. I also like that it is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe drive, so it has plenty of performance headroom. For the price, capacity, and speed, this was a solid upgrade. If you have a compatible laptop or desktop and want more storage with better performance, this is an easy recommendation. It did exactly what I needed, and I would buy it again.

good
Works exactly as intended with no issues so far. I'm using it as my second storage drive for games and other files, and the speed is great. Easy to install, plenty of space, and everything runs smoothly. Definitely worth the price if you need a fast and reliable secondary SSD.
