Great little compressor!
I reviewed many compressors for several months. I needed a small, quiet, and light weight air compressor to move between my garage and my workshop. I will use this little gem primarily for filling tires, shooting brad nails, cleaning work areas, and blowing debris out of air filters. Nothing big. I received the unit just 2 days after I ordered it. Package was shipped USPS. The box was fully intact and without any signs of mishandling. Inside, the styrofoam held the unit firmly in place. I took off the plastic wrapper and the compressor looked very, very nice. The compressor didnโt have any flaws in the paint or observable material defects of any kind. The craftsmanship and engineering are excellent. Compressor lines are copper tubing and another is a braided stainless steel protective sleeve over rubber (I assume). Itโs a very simple design and well put together. I know that the Limodot compressor is Chinese made, but almost every air compressor is made in China. I was originally going to get the Makita 1 gallon or the Metabo 1 gallon (both made in China). The motor on the Limodot is almost twice the hp, and the tank filling time was quicker than the Makita and Metabo. Slightly higher cfm at 90 psi with the Limodot, too. After running the compressor for about 20 minutes, the motor was very warm but not hot. What pursuaded me to go with the Limodot compressor was it seemed to be a bargain price and it is factory guaranteed for 3 years. I donโt normally buy extended warranties, but I was planning on buying an 2 year extended warranty for the Makita or Metabo compressors. So that saved me another $30 on the total overall costs. Additionally, Limodot technical support seems to be quite responsive to their customers, at least according to the reviews Iโve read. The manual is sparse but adequate, in my opinion. The shipping box said the tank is 1.3 gallons. I donโt know if thatโs the actual tank capacity or not. But if it is true, 0.3 gallons is larger than their competitor's. Not a big difference, but would you rather have a 1 gallon vs a 1.3 gallon tank? The pressure gauges are adequate sized and easy to read. They are located away from one another and it would be more convenient for them to be both viewed from only one viewing angle instead of two. Using the compressor has been a very nice experience for me. Especially the quiet nature of the unit. The Limodot wasnโt quite as quiet as I had hoped. Especially as the pressure builds inside the tank. I would say the noise level is louder than a refrigerator compressor but less than a home vacuum cleaner. I had my head about 6โ away from the compressor while running and could still hear a conversation. The Makita, Metabo, and CAT compressors have a 56 dB rating, while the Limodotโs is 60 dB. However, the Limodot does have an appreciably larger motor, probably why it is louder. The tank fills quickly and seems to cycle a bit more frequently than my Bostich. But that isnโt a problem for my needs. Iโm 70 y.o. and moving around heavy compressors is not my idea of having fun. While the Limodot weighs 31 lbs, itโs certainly much easier to tote around than my old, ear blasting Bostich pancake, which supposedly weighs around 30 lbs. The Limodot is actually very easy for me to move around from place to place. I did not like moving the Bostich around. At all. Iโm quite happy with my purchase of the Limodot air compressor. The value, the 3 year warranty, and the Limodot performance have convinced me this compressor best meets my personal needs. If you need a small compressor, you need not look any further. This is the real deal in a 1 gallon air compressor.

Almost as quiet as a refrigerator!
I ordered this air compressor for airbrushing inside my home. Super easy to setup. I needed only a Crescent wrench to install the air hose quick connect, made leak-proof with the supplied Teflon tape. Took less than a minute to fill the 2-gallon tank, more than enough capacity for airbrushing. And it is quiet quiet quiet! This well-built compressor will probably outlast me :D And that's a good thing. I definitely recommend this for anyone needing a capable, extremely quiet air compressor. Nice buy!

A bit of a gem ๐ค๐ฝโฅ๏ธ
I love this little guy, I feel like itโs just the right size for me, it tucks under my desk nicely. There were no leaks, every connection was snug, everything works properly. Itโs loud, but not crazy loud, as loud as a slightly raised voice and not a shout, loud enough to startle you at first, but you get use to it, even then, it doesnโt run that long, maybe like a minute or two. The sound is more in the lower register so itโs more comfortable to be around than a high pitched rattling roar. I was tempted to get the five gallon, but I didnโt want the increase in decibels. Iโm not sure why the two gallon compressor didnโt have an accessories kit included option. The pricing of this brandโs compressor line up fluctuated in odd ways, at one point if i remember right, the 5gal with accessories included was priced a bit under the 2gal without accessories. I donโt know the brand feels a bit sketchy, but I really wanted the 2gal, because it was the largest tank at the lowest decibels. All reviews said the right things. I looked up and compared every compressor at this size here on Amazon and this one stood out to me for one of the most quietest ones in this price range. It was rated the quietest on Project Farmโs YouTube channel. The main things I looked for in a compressor were: affordable or fairly priced, reliability, a large tank and for it to be really quiet. I think this one hit the spot fairly well for the price. Looks like they donโt have anymore 2gallon sizes right now, this one is a bit of a gem. I use it mostly for airbrushing and Iโm super happy with it. I would recommend if this product becomes available again. Extra: There was box option I had never seen before when I was ordering, i thought itโd be smart to hide what the item was being inside another box so i selected the box option. I probably wouldnโt select the extra box if I bought something like this again because it was shipped to me in an oversized box and it seemed to give the delivery people problems banging around inside the larger box. The outer box was really beat up, the box inside was slightly banged up, there was nothing to hold the box inside steady. Luckily this compressor is built pretty tough and survived. Iโd say donโt select the box option and just be ready for your compressorโs arrival so that it doesnโt sit at your front door advertising what it is and tempting porch pirates.

Nice compressor
This compressor really is very quiet for an air compressor. It airs up quickly. The tank is big enough to make it useful but small enough that it is easy to move around or put it in the car. Itโs been sitting for a few days with the regulator backed all the way out and the air pressure is still where it was (a little over 90psi). Having the hose and some accessories included was nice. Only minor assembly is required like installing the wheels and mufflers. I had it ready to use in a few minutes. Iโm glad to have it.

Personally I think it's an excellent air compressor, and has a decent air hose and fittings
For the price, I am very satisfied, it is quieter than what I got at Walmart. Also so far is holding pressure after being aired up 3 days ago. Fits on my little tool cart, and fills quickly enough, so you aren't waiting on it when needed. Only problem I have is that a plug or fitting is missing on the pressure regulator, had to hunt up a plug to seal the hole so that I could use it.

Compared to my old Harbor Freight 3ga Hot Dog Compressor. Night and Day!
My old Harbor Freight hot dog compressor was shot and was taking 10+ minutes to fill up, and it was also obnoxiously loud so I knew I wanted a 'Ultra-Quiet' compressor to replace it with. I found these Limodot compressors and decided to go with the 2ga with the BIG motor because I wanted the best performance in the smallest package. And WOW what a difference. Even with the huge motor the new compressor is actually SLIMMER than my old Harbor Freight so it can sit more flush against the wall which is exactly what I wanted, and barely only 2-3 in longer. It's SO QUIET and literally takes less than 1 minute to fill up completely. Recovery time is only a few seconds. Even with a smaller 2 gallon tank it's not an issue because the motor offers excellent CFM to work with. I used it with an air duster nearly non-stop and it had no problem keeping up, that was impossible with my old compressor even when it was new. Harbor Freight offers a 2ga 'Ultra-Quiet' compressor but it's nearly $200 and still more expensive even on sale. This Limodot offers MORE CFM and has a slim design at a much lower price, it was a no-brainer. The air connection is a 'push' design so you can simply push in a hose and it will lock into place. The compressor seems to only fill up to 100 PSI which is the same as my old compressor but I'm fine with that. The only 'cons' are that it is heavier to carry than my old compressor because of the much bigger motor but it is still VERY portable. I didn't want the 6-gallon because it would be too big to move around. If you really need that extra volume you can connect an auxiliary air-tank which is what I will turn my old compressor into.

Great quality compressor
Light, quiet good amount of power and builds up quick. I own a mobile mechanic business and this compressor is great or every tool.

Quiet & well built
This is great. I got tired of not being able to talk when the compressor came on so treated myself to one of these. I plumbed it in parallel with my old compressor but leave that off most of the time. This little one is always on and runs several times a day. It is not expensive so longevity was a question. It has been two years and it finally failed to start. Started fine without pressure in the tank. Something to do with back-pressure. Nothing to lose now so I tore it apart. The design is awesome. Easy to disassemble, O-ring seals on the heads and sturdy reed valves. There was some crud from condensation. There is an anti-backflow valve at the tank. That has some crud in it as well. Cleaned & greased the valves and reassembled it. Only took a few minutes. Works like new again! Would definitely buy one of these again.
