Tour De Force!
A classic for every right reason! Would recommend this to any freshman aiming to study physics at the post grad level and looking to get ahead of future classes. Well written, with a plethora of great problem sets to anchor your journey towards deeper understanding of fundamental physics concepts! Worth every dollar!

This is an extremely good, readable and complete Math Methods text
I am very pleased to have both this and the student guide in my library. I am planning on getting the etextbook as well for convenience in carrying around. The book itself is one of the (physically) heaviest books I own!

Very good book, pretty poor binding
This book appears to end my quest for a good book to fill my (many) gaps in mathematics. I have studied a few topics from it, and I find it quite understandable. The index in the end is also quite good to look for something specific. The content itself is 5-stars for me.I do have to deduct one star for the book's binding. I have the softcover version, so maybe this doesn't apply to the hardcover, but the binding is pretty bad. I have had the books for only a couple of weeks, and some pages are already coming loose. I don't think I have been careless with it or anything. Of course, the book is very thick, but still. I have Dover books that are also softcover, and as thick as this one, yet all the pages stay in their place. In summary, I recommend this book, but know you'll need to have it rebound.

Best Modern, Advanced-Yet Student Friendly Math Methods Text
This is probably the best math methods book out there. I'm only confused by its characterization as an undergraduate-level book. It is definitely graduate level, particularly in later chapters starting with DE's and complex analysis applications. My guess it is so lucidly well-written, and with available solutions that it is perfectly accessible to senior undergraduates as well!

Easy to undestand and have everthing
Great book, have good examples , and exercises are excelent aplications of theory. Can be a little difficult in the begin, if didnt have see the point in other's books

Covers everything you need to know
This is a wonderfully written reference for any math class. Abstract topics are explained in a manner in which Engineers easily pick them up. I went through my entire BS pretending to understand math and since we started using this book for my entry level graduate class, I ACTUALLY feel like I understand some of this stuff. If your instructor recommends this book, props to him, and lucky you!If you just like math and wound up here without being forced to buy this book, I would get it anyway because its so good.

Badly structured and sloppy math derivations.
Badly structured and formatted. Not useful as handbook because of the lack of proper formatting with paragraphs, theorems, definitions etc... Important theorems are just stated in plain text instead of separated into their own boxes. Too informal and often makes sloppy and sometimes incorrect arguments to derive stuff. Should at least include references to more rigorous derivations when it makes use of informal derivations.

Great Book
The Product was delivered in the best condition, The content of this book is essential for students who are pursuing their undergraduate in Physics. This book can be used to review math concepts for solving purposes as it starts from what a student has typically learnt in their class 11th and 12th in the Indian setup. Do purchase this book and get your concepts in math cleared!!!
