Put this up about 4 months ago and through many bouts of torrential rain, winds and the various UK storms we've had it's still going. I bought some rechargeable batteries so that I wouldn't need to keep climbing up a ladder to change them and so far so good. The solar panel tops them up nicely and the flashing light is still constantly going. Can't imagine it uses much juice anyway. Once up it looks real and has the neighbours fooled. Can't go wrong for the price. Highly recommended. EDIT: 10 months on and it's still going strong. It's been out thru snow and all sorts of weather. The rechargeable ANSMANN AA Dect Phone Batteries I bought are doing a great job. EDIT: Just over 3 years on and it's still going on the same batteries! Pretty amazing really. EDIT: 5 years on and it literally fell off the wall last week and cracked so I had to throw it away. Not even the cameras fault! The LED light from the original batteries was STILL flashing! That's 60 months of British weather and the screws holding it into the wall failed before the camera did! Well worth the £12! Broke my heart chucking it in the bin.

For those who don't know where the batteries go for night time use, the compartment is under the top sliding hood. Overall good device, looks super realistic.

La fonction alimentation solaire semble + efficace que sur le modèle précédent du même constructeur et les piles-batteries + grosses promettent aussi une meilleure autonomie. Par contre, il manquait un couvercle de logement des batteries sur 1 des 2 caméras et je souhaiterais en recevoir un sans être obligé de renvoyer le caméra complète qui fonctionne parfaitement.
