Just received today. Buying shoes on line has always been risky for me. Not this time!! Very comfortable and perfect fit (Size 11) right out of the package. Straps to adjust fit both behind the heel and over the arch make it very easy to get comfortable right away - no break-in time as they are very soft, and straps make it easy to adjust as they relax over time if necessary. Leather is a bit thin but supported by heavy padding/backing material, including the heel strap; leather is just for looks. Stitching looks to be very heavy and high quality, as advertised. All edges are cleanly finished, no raw edges anywhere on the shoe! Everywhere the leather is stitched to the shoe it is double-stitched, not single. All inside surfaces that are in contact with feet are smooth, soft, and finished nicely, with no rough spots anywhere to rub against the foot. Insole is soft cushioned rubber with small grooves that actually stimulate the soles of your feet when walking. Arch support is only moderate, but the insole is nicely contoured - not flat like some. Have always loved wearing sandals for most of the summer and indoors in winter. Last pair was Croft & Barrow that lasted a long time; but insoles are fabric which finally wore through, and strap on inside front broke, plus they were open toe and I often struck objects with big toes. These have protection with rubber closed toe (padded on the inside) so that problem is fixed; and plenty of space in front so toes are not up against the toe cap. Manufacturer says you can wear these anywhere, including swimming, and since everything except the leather covering looks to be man-made, they may be ok for that, but even though I am a fisherman I don't think I will wear them in the water, just in case, but they will be very comfortable to wear on the boat for extended periods. Getting them wet in the rain, etc., is probably ok if you let them dry soon after. Only minor drawback is the slightly "hokey" rubber "FASHION" label on the top front of the sandal as another reviewer pointed out, kind of cheapens the look of an otherwise classy looking sandal. Can probably remove as that reviewer did, but that would leave holes where the stitching held the label, so don't know which is worse looking - matter of personal taste. These are exactly as shown in the photos on the Amazon web-site. Plan to wear for a while and make sure they hold up, I see no reason at initial inspection why they would not, and then probably buy another pair in a different color.

I love closed toe sandles. My normal pair has been discontinued. These different look and design where a hail Mary. They are light weight and cushioning on the feet. The cushion had a waffling feel on your sole, that felt funny at first. But as you wear them it feels great. I will reorder these when I wear through them. GREAT SHOES!

This is a Rip off I got two different made sandals thinking that we wouldn't know the difference. The back straps are NOT THE SAME and the sandal with the shorter latch had slits with like an hole to the side.

I hate to pay extra for just a name it's a quality product but was just a little bit larger than what I anticipated otherwise comfortable. I'm really not crazy about the" fashion" label on top of the tongue which I think may be cool only in China . I'm old too old to care about anyone who looks that closely at a sandal anyway right?

Great quality and comfort. I bought this because I wanted open air sandals to wear during hot summers in Charleston, SC where it can get into the high 90s and over a hundred degrees. This pair of shoes is open but has a closed heal and toe, so it can pass as appropriate shoes at work. It feels very well made and durable. The size runs a half-size large. Whereas I ordered size 9, I should have ordered a size 8.5, but the difference is not a deal breaker. Love the shoes overall

My expectations were low for $40 sandals from China but they are quite comfortable and are my preferred shoe for around the house. They are holding up fine after a couple of months.

The uppers are made of a fairly Thin pleather, split leather or PU leather. They are not leather! They won't absorb mink oil or leather preservative and the outer surface of the upper is already scabbing off in spots. That was a big initial disappointment. I have the tan looking version and they have a plastic look.The foot bed material smells bad out of the bag and makes for stinky feet every time I wear them.They took a month to arrive from somewhere in China. The foot bed was uncomfortable at first but broke in after a couple of days.I've had them for a month now with maybe 10 days of use.They're good looking sandals and are very comfortable after break in. The soles will endure/absorb rough ground rocks without pushing in. I don't expect them to last very long!They cost me $35.32 after tax.I might buy them again depending on how much wear I get from them.

I felt that these sandals did not fit comfortably. The material quality is not good. I will keep, but not invest any more money in this product.

Strap broke within a week. Will have to get the shoe repaired. Ribbed insole is uncomfortable. Should order a size larger because velcro won't overlap enough.

They were not comfortable at all. The sole was rough and uncomfortable. Also they pinched my toes. Terrible fit.

Everything went according to plan. The sandale is excelelnt quality and fit.I would highly recommend this product.

Well constructed and beautifully made. Hope they last all summer. Comfortable.
