This is such an adorable stuffed panda bear. The box it's in looks like a pet carrier. His little head is peeking out. This is a small, soft, cuddly, little panda bear that would make a great gift for someone you love. It is the cutest little stuffed animal!

We are big fans of wildlife, so I couldn't pass up this cute little panda. I love the idea of getting stuffies from places that are actively making conservation efforts to help these animals. This adorable little panda arrives with a carrying case that is folded flat. It is easy to set it up so you can place the panda inside with its head poking out of the front. The carrying case is a cute idea, but not really something that will be functional for play. It is thin cardboard and I don't think it will last long. Think of something along the lines of a happy meal box. You have to place the panda inside before you close it all the way because it is too large to fit through the head hole completely. This does make it cute for gift giving purposes though. Also, I really appreciate the efforts to use recyclable materials, so I would prefer this over a plastic toy crate that will only take up more space in the house anyway. I was also happy to see that even the panda was made from recycled materials. The panda is super soft and great to snuggle with. It looks good and I did not notice any flaws in the stitching. There are some dark spots on the white fur on the belly though. I can't tell if this is part of the black material that is showing underneath or if it is just some discoloration. It isn't a big deal though. You have to be looking to notice it and it just looks like shadows. It is a smaller sized plushie, so it is easy for kids to carry around everywhere. It comes with a tiny dumpling, which will likely get lost many times. It is a happy dumpling though, and it is pretty cute. One of the most exciting things about this kind of plushie is seeing the animals you are helping. When you go to the site listed on the tag it tells you a little bit about Pandas International, the organization that Follow Your Legend has teamed up with to help pandas. It then tells you about 2 specific pandas your symbolic adoption has helped. I think it would be really neat if your panda was specifically linked to one of the pandas here, but that is not really the case. According to the tag this pandas name is Bobby, and the 2 pandas on the site are not. However, it is nice that Bobby can be a generic name that is helping all of the pandas in need. I just wish there were even more stories listed there. Aside from reading about these pandas there is not much more to learn about them. Looking around the website a bit shows many different organizations that Follow Your Legend works with to bring awareness and protection to a lot of species. They give 12% of all clothing, jewelry and plushies sales to the organization they teamed with. There are a lot of options available to find an organization or animal you want to support. If you are going to get a stuffie anyway, I think this is a great option. This little plushie is adorable and would definitely make a great gift.

He has a big heart and I knew he would find it meaningful that this gift also supported Pandas International. The panda doll itself is very soft and cute, but the stitching is a bit sloppy and the edges of the black band around the middle don’t line up. The carrying box for it came with a crushed handle. Not a deal breaker, but it’s not ideal for giving as a gift. While this item has been reduced in price, I felt those issues were not what I expected given the higher price it was listed for when I placed my order which led to removing one star. I removed the second star for what I feel is a bigger issue. I would expect an item connected to protecting this species to portray accurate information about it, especially when it’s being marketed to young children. Adding a stuffed dumpling to the panda doll and including a phrase on the tag about him not being able to keep away from dumplings is very misleading and confusing. Pandas do not eat dumplings. In fact 99% of their diet consists of bamboo leaves and shoots. I get that it’s an animal native to China and that dumplings are a popular food in China, but a piece of pretend bamboo would have been more appropriate. One last small issue that I have is the way the seller indicates that this is an item for girls. It does a great disservice to efforts made for gender equity. I cannot recommend this product.

Bobby the Panda loves buns which makes it even nicer that the creators gave him one to travel with. The panda stuffed animal is incredibly soft and is the perfect size to cuddle with. Quality construction can be since in the stitching and contraction of this little guy. He’s cute and my daughter loves him. The added bonus is that he is transported to you in an animal carrier. Perfect!

I adore pandas so I was really excited when I saw this. I loved the idea of being able to "adopt" a plush panda. This came poorly shipped in only a padded envelope from the business that Amazon then put into a box to finish shipping. Because if its early life in a padded envelop, the box and the panda were a little misshapen. It's hard to tell if the panda might have looked different when he was first born. As he is now, he is distinctly lopsided, which gives him a bit of character. He comes with a dumpling to keep him fed and a tag that tells you where you can find out more about how Follow Your Legend is supporting the preservation of pandas. The website also tells you the story of three different pandas that are receiving support. It's not quite what I expected. I thought there would be a link to once specific panda and I would get updates, but that would be a pretty big undertaking so I can understand why they did it like they did. It is still a great way to help support pandas and get a child interested in wildlife conservation. The company has other animals and creatures supporting different animals and other charitable causes around the world. I would like to know more about how much of the money is ultimately going to the work, but, in the end, I am buying a stuffed panda and that's what I most enjoyed.

I got this for my little panda lover and it was a big hit! This panda now has the best home in the house, right against my kiddo's pillow.

I like the concept of donating to a charity, but this stuffed panda is just not of a decent quality. The embroidery around his eyes is actually coming loose, and his nose and mouth are quite crooked. He is soft and plush, though. The box came all crumpled, although that could be an Amazon issue (not sure). He comes with a dumpling, not an appropriate food for a real panda (just Kung Fu Panda), as pandas primarily eat bamboo (although they will eat a bit of something else when needed). This means a teaching opportunity was missed. He just doesn't meet my expectations, so I will go with two stars (below average).

This panda and his dumpling are an adorable pair. They are soft and squishy. Both are sewn and embroidered well. The dumpling is attached to the tag, which takes you to a website. The website has some information about brown pandas and the first panda born in the US, but not much about the charity, Pandas International. I looked them up on my own and found out that they are based out of Colorado. The main thing they do seems to be raising public awareness, but they also plant bamboo and send vet supplies to panda sanctuaries. They got an 85% rating from charity navigatior. What you see in the listing picture is what you get; the panda, dumpling, ear tag, and green box. I wish this came with more educational material. Aside from that, it's a very cute toy and I'm glad it helps panda sanctuaries.
