This Vicks thermometer is easy to use and gives quick, accurate readings. I especially appreciate how fast it works, which is helpful when checking temperatures for children or when someone isn't feeling well. After my last thermometer quit working, I needed something that would work quickly and easily for my family- with kids ranging in age from 16- 2 months, we all know speed is of the essence (esp when trying to take a toddlers temperature). This thermometer was at a comparable price and it works exactly as stated. I really appreciate the speed readings, esp for the younger kids, and the different indicator lights are great, too. There have been multiple times I've taken someone's temp in the dark and this makes it that much easier to not disturb those that are trying to rest while sick. I also have one of those infrared head reader types of thermometers, but I never know how truly accurate those are, I feel this is a more efficient way to get an accurate reading- which is so important to me when it comes to fevers in kids!

Fast, accurate, portable all for a great price! I like the bright light up easy to read display. Would buy again! No idea why I put up with a slow to read thermometer without a light up display for so many years.

Works well, price is okay, reasonably fast, the colored display lights are a nice feature. Love the standard battery; making it so this isn't e-waste in a year. I have nothing to complain about

So far so good. Quick, accurate and easy to use. Storage isn't great, but just keep the box. Easy to read, good for price.

This product works fine. You have to get used to it. Press the start button and it briefly lights up then it goes dark, then it shows the last temperature reading and then it displays LO, after placing under tongue it lights up to say its ready and then goes dark and then you can read the latest temperature. This sequence confused me and under constant bright lighting I was able to see exactly what it was doing. I intially gave it a bad rating. The only thing I would change is when it determines the actual latest temperature it stays lit for say 3 seconds showing that temperature but after going dark still displays that temperature and then after say 60 seconds whatever turns off to save on battery.

Easy to use. Haven't tested out the durability but it feels pretty durable. Reading speed is pretty quick compared to some thermometers that I've owned. Shocked about the price on it for being such a good thermometer.

They sometimes are a degree or two off from the start, and they can break after just a few months of regular use. I am a vet assistant so I need a fast, accurate thermometer, and it is a problem when they stop working. On the other hand, they are cheap, and when they do work, they work well and fast, so it balances out somewhat. I will continue using these until I find something better.
