Best quality chocolate to get if you can’t go to Belgium yourself
If you don’t know about Leonidas chocolates, you know nothing about chocolates. The label of Belgian chocolates is sometimes thrown around to attract attention, but often enough the taste gives it away. Godiva and Lindt among others are praised commercially as higher level chocolate, but seriously if you taste Leonidas chocolates, you know the others can’t compare. If you value good chocolate that is satisfying, not made with tons of sugar and has a beautiful, creamy, firm cocoa flavor that feels luxurious on your tongue, get Leonidas. I took a chance after many years of having to eat not very exciting chocolate in the U.S. and ordered Leonidas chocolates from Marky’s. I have bought Leonidas chocolates in Belgium in the past so my expectations were high. (There are very few if any stores in the U.S.). It did not disappoint. I wish I could be in a Leonidas store and pick my own chocolates from their large selection, but Marky’s has the right idea with their selection. I have ordered from them multiple times now and the quality was consistent. It came in a box, with a styrofoam cooler inside with cold icepacks. Each box has the beautiful gold box with a bow which is a common thing for Leonidas. I recommend it as a gift for someone you love or care about. A good gift for business. The chocolate tastes like luxury. The dark chocolate is as luxurious as the milk chocolate. You may get different filling like raspberry, caramel or vanilla. There are many different kinds. The white chocolate praline is well known. I know the price seems high, but honestly it is worth it if you want quality and one of a kind gift that makes an impact. You can also treat yourself.
