Drift HD GHOST 4K UHD Motorcycle Action Helmet Camera + FREE Case & LCD Screen

The design of the cam is perfect, the style is very different from other similar products and that is the difference, it has a very simple very simple use, but the battery is not what the manufacturer indicates, recording at 1080 does not reach 3:30 hours when the manufacturer indicates 5 or 6 hours at 4k.

Easy to attach to a helmet with the sticky mount. Holds securely. Battery lasts for a 3 or 4 days even with ~40 minutes of use each day. Tolerates the cold and wet of the UK easily.This is excellent if you want a camera _on the side_ of your helmet. Doesn't feel heavy when attached or put strain on your head.

5 Stars for the Quality of the build of the camera and Video capture. It's Rock Solid!The only negative thing i would say is that the internal battery and the normal battery attachment do not last long if you're shooting in 4KUHD Video...It's best to purchase an additional DRIFT GHOST 4K Module Battery 1500mAh.

Could be so good but there are so many functions that the old camera had that have been removed including manual dvr so loop recording doesn’t work without continuous power. Drift are totally disinterested in my concerns.

Camera is hardly used, but noticed housing screws weren't holding case closed. Contacted Drift customer service, they replied they don't do repairs! By the time I had noticed the problem the camera was 2 weeks out of the 2 year warranty period. Drift would not entertain having it in for examination of the failure. Only wanted me to buy a replacement. This camera gets extremely hot when in use, almost too hot to hold. Drift info say this is normal. I suspect this heat has caused the screws to fail but Drift refuse to accept this as even a possibility and wont have it in for examination. Basically they choose to ignore the possibility they have a problem.Steer clear if you expect product reliability and value, or good customer service for the high price you pay.

Prushased else where not with amazon seller but wanted to leave review. The usb charging point solder came away from the board not even after one use and due to location and type of the connector you cant claim back on warrenty. The audio cable in the bundle was miss assembled at an angl so you couldnt use it. The camera is supposed to be water resistant but any sign of mist or damp in the air and the back sreen will fog up and water will get in. The camera also has tempremental software leaving you woundering if it's actually recording even on the latest firmware. Not worth the money sadly and wont last.
