YAMASAN KYOTO UJI Freeze-Dried Natto Fermented Soybean 2.4oz

People told me this is an acquired taste. I can understand why some other people might not like Natto but I do. It tastes good and is easy to prepare. It's really good for you too so it's worth buying.

This tastes so bad that it must be amazingly good for my health. Like, I expect this to reverse my male pattern baldness - that's how nasty this tastes! Has a faint nutty aroma, quickly displaced by a complex bitterness - not the good kind - that offends the mouth on multiple fronts. The beans get rubbery and have no bite, just dodge your teeth as the slime makes every movement of the jaw regrettable. I'll keep it around if I were to ever contract a serious illness. Surely, this is powerful medicine.

Interesting product. Tastes very similar to the original product but difficult to generate the same amount of slime. Restoration requires a little bit more water than recommended and will be absorbed by the beans if left long enough. Perhaps not the best value to buy in this freeze dry form but more convenient than buying frozen.

Not sure if use hot-warm or cold not has fermented as the fresh ones.

I eat this with a fried egg

I made the big mistake of not checking the packet size. you get a sachet about the size of a pack of bean seeds - This is a complete and utter rip off.

Healthy versatile

This is very handy to have in the cupboard. It tastes great for natto. The only reason that it doesn't get a 5 is because it is just so costly.
