The handpiece feels comfortable to hold and operates smoothly with very little vibration. I love that the speed is adjustable, allowing precise control for shaping, filing, and removing gel or acrylic nails. The battery life is excellent and lasts through multiple sessions without needing a recharge. It is also quiet compared to other nail drills I have used. The quality and performance exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for nail technicians and beginners alike!

I was skeptical with the reviews some being not so great. But the portable drill is amazing. Great for beginners. Works better than my plug in drill. Doesn’t get hot easily. The colors is so pretty. Great value for the price. And I love that it has a space for everything. The cord length is good I was able to set the housing piece behind/beside me and drill off my old gel off my toes and fingers. I did both my gel-x and just gel polish after removal with the drill and the charge was still over half. Came fully charged which I loved. The bits all fit great. It locks in lovely. Took me a second to figure that part out. You do have to use some force with the locking mechanism. Also loved the shield! I normally have bits flying at my face when removing my gel-x. But no issues there. If you’re just starting out, start low and move up as you get more comfortable. This drill can and will tear your skin up/off if you’re not careful. The cuticle bits are so amazing as well. Normally by the end of my nail process my cuticles are dry and peely. But not this time thanks to the bits. (I’m on a medication that dries my skin oils so my cuticles are dry anyways)

This nail drill is a very high-quality product that makes the job much easier. It offers good power, and its handpiece is lightweight; furthermore, it produces almost no noise, making it very comfortable to use. It is truly an excellent choice for performing manicures, as it adapts to your needs and helps significantly in speeding up your workflow. I am delighted with my purchase and recommend it without hesitation.

I adore this drill. Gets the job done, comes with a nice bag for its safety and the perfect starting drill bits so you don't need to order anything separate to drill away right when you get yours :) I took off one star because of the drill's coating so it makes me wonder about the quality because I do NOT rough handle this baby nor have I had it but more than about a month or two? Worried about it coming off whilst cleaning a clients nails and leaving flakes but that has NOT happened just the outer coating has started to peel and like scrape off* but BUT it obviously doesn't affect how amazing it works but Ease of use - Great cord length, lovely speed, amazing nail cleaning, also getting help from customer service to see if my drill maybe just needs to be replaced (i haven't seen ANY others scratching online when I watch other creators so don't worry) I love HALMAI :)

As a beginner with nails, this one was affordable and works great. It goes up to 40. This kit came with many things and am super happy with my purchase. It was easy to use. Turning off and on with a turn of the knob. And has made cleaning and prepping my nails easier.

I absolutely love this nail file . Noise level really low. Great motor no heat works beautifully my nails look salon professional. I am happy I can use my other bits with this unit. Doing my nails at home has become part of my routine, so I needed something that could speed things up without making it complicated. This nail drill caught my attention because it’s cordless and seemed easy to manage. Right out of the box, everything looked organized and straightforward. It includes several drill bits, and the device itself feels lightweight but still solid. Being cordless makes a big difference since you’re not dealing with cables while working on your nails. The controls are simple, and I was able to get comfortable with it pretty quickly. After a few weeks of use, I can say it has enough power for shaping nails and removing gel without struggling. It definitely cuts down the time compared to using a manual file. The adjustable speed is helpful depending on what you’re doing, especially when switching between shaping and more detailed work. What stood out most is the convenience of being cordless, the decent power for home use, and the value for money considering what’s included. It can feel a bit intimidating at first, so starting slow is important, but once you get used to it, it’s very manageable. I’ve kept it in my routine because it makes the whole process easier and faster.

This is overall a good product. It holds the charge for a long time. It is powerful, despite running off a battery. The variable speeds are great, it has a brief pause between forward and reverse, which is fine. The pause feature is also great. My only complaint, and it is a strong one, is that the control dial is on the end of the battery pack. So, why is this problematic? I bought this to use for my own polynails at home. If the unit is kept upright, as illustrated in the Amazon listing, the cord that connects the file to the battery unit, (which is fairly short at roughly 22.5 inches, unstretched) easily pulls the battery over while in use. More importantly, it makes it difficult to use the control knob to adjust the speed while you are holding the file itself. I end up having to pick the unit up with both hands free in order to adjust the speed. If the knob was on the broad flat surface, along side the LED display, Reverse, Pause/Resume, & Forward buttons, this would be a virtually perfect e-file (Although, then it wouldn't fit as smoothly into the cute little velvet storage pouch that is included. Also, it would be nice if somewhere in the Very brief "Instruction Manual" they would explain the use of the individually packed single drill bit with the odd head. I cannot speak to how long it will last. Other than that, I am very happy with this product. Power, functionality, Good spin rate and good value for the price.

The file stopped working after one month, the base doesn’t charge anymore even though it shows it is. Very disappointed as I was liking it. I think it’s a battery issue.

The power is amazing for a cordless drill , it handles gel effortlessly, feels smooth in use, and doesn’t struggle even at higher RPMs. It also feels sturdy and almost salon grade rather than flimsy, which really surprised me at this price point. Battery life is great, and the portability makes it super convenient for home use or mobile techs. Overall, this is a fantastic value product that performs far beyond what I expected. Once you’ve mastered it, it’s efficient, powerful, and reliable. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance nail drill without spending salon-level money. 💅

This is the 3rd e-file I bought - and I wish I had splurged on it from the get-go. The charge lasts forever. Runs so smooth and quiet. Ive had it since November 2025 and after 3months Im still so impressed. If you're a beginner, I would hands down (pun intended) "splurge" on this.

Estaba buscando un taladro de uñas para aprender a trabajar con uñas y os puedo asecurar que estoy encantada con este producto de HALMAI, ha sido un acierto total esta elección, ya que trae un montón de accesorios y no me falta de nada (caja, cargador, bolsita para guardarlo, lima...). La máquina es muy fácil de utilizar y casi no hace ruido, es bastante sileciosa y además la carga es rápida.Cuenta con varias velocidades para poder eliminar el esmalte, pulir la uña... la intensidad la pones tú según para que la quieras usar. El diseño es muy bonito, práctico y además es fácil de llevar a cualquiera parte, ya que puede guardar en cualquier parte. La calidad es excelente, estoy muy contenta con mi nueva compra.
