I bought this flat iron because of its dual voltage feature for a trip through England, France, Belgium and Netherlands. It worked in every country with a plug adapter (not voltage converter). It got very hot, very quickly, and I liked the “live” temperature reading. It worked well for smooth and curled styles. Caution for European travellers: I didn’t find a single hotel bathroom outlet that it worked on. The shaver wiring configuration might be incompatible, even when there is a higher voltage option. It still turned on but the screen would flicker and it wouldn’t fully heat up. It worked fine in other rooms though.
