This is my first time using Advanced Silicone Scar Gel and my first impression is very good. The packaging looks clean and professional, and the bottle feels good quality. This project really works!! I started using it Six weeks after my surgery. I had shoulder surgery. And I bruise and scar very easily. I started with a very small light. Amount, because my skin is also very sensitive. It only used it one time a day for the first two days. I had no reaction and have used it two times a day, since. It is very lightly scented. But once you're done rubbing it in, the smell is gone and it is a pleasant smell. A little goes a long way! It does take a few minutes to rub in. But that is a good thing, because you do need to be doing a gentle massage to break up the scar tissue for it to heal appropriately. No sticky residue, no roll off.And it dries clear. You can apply sunscreen over it with no problems once it completely dries. I am now nine weeks. Post opp. I've been using the product for three weeks at least once a day twice when I remember. But even with that, it has, who really made a big difference!! The shallower one you can barely see and the deeper one is fading fast! The first day it immediately took away the redness. And you really can't beat the price point!

The product is a good size and will last longer than I need. I had a small surgery near my eyes, so admittedly I don't use much each time. The gel feels nice; not sticky or medicinal. I've been using this scar gel for 6 weeks and my scar is looking great. A little of this gel goes a long way and it dries quicker than other ones I have tried. I give it a shake before using and rub it in. It leaves a thin film to seal the scar. Great product and price! No scent as well.

In a couple of weeks, using this product 2x a day has noticeably smoothed an area on my cheek that was very badly bitten by insects. Another bite area on my forehead is both smoother and lighter with the same regime. Next, I'll use cocoa butter to try and fade these dark areas caused by bites. I don't have time most mornings to rub it in for 2 to 3 minutes as suggested; I've been aiming for c. a minute, just until it dries out. Same at night before bed.
