Brilliant children's book telling the Villain's side to the famous Disney stories
Such a brilliant children's book. I love how it tells the stories of the evil characters in a conversational kind of style alongside their sidekicks with plenty of classic imagery and some brilliant pull-out features that make it interactive and fun. What's not to like about this book? I love how the characters twist the truth as in they believe what they are telling as the truth just to soften the blow that they had. It's so good, and Rachel Upton has really captured the essence of each of the villains in this book - it's so worth a read! Villains covered in this book are: Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Jafar from Aladdin, Mother Gothel from Tangled, Lady Tremaine from Cinderella, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Scar from The Lion King, Cruella De Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Hades from Hercules, and Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog.

My six-year-old daughter loves this book. I got her this one, Mal's spell book from the movie The Descendants, and also Evie's fashion book from the movie descendants, and a book called The Secret unicorn Society. I got her these books for Christmas and this one by far is her favorite. She also likes the fact that it has little flaps that you can open. It just gives the book a little bit more Dimension and character.
